I'm already a big fan of the Payless Airwalks  - they're great! But hot! So who has worn Crocs Niles and what do you think????? And what is the difference between Niles and the new Crocs Scute???? Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?

I have the Niles, I haven't worn them as much as my other Crocs but they are comfortable even though I still have some 'breaking in' to do.

I just got a pair of the Scutes in the mail last night and I LOVE them. They seem a little smaller than my others and I'm going to have to exchange them for a larger size, but they are so comfortable!

Holy Crap! Scutes!! They are soooo cool! I don't like the Nile, because of the strap. Now if they only came in purple!!

My mom would like to know which is wider, Niles or Scutes?

Good question. I just broke down and ordered some Niles, in size 10 (Im a 9 1/2), so Ill see how it goes!

Niles are definitely wider (have the lime green ones!) Got a pair of scuted for DH for father's day-- have to exchange for one size larger than he wears in the flip flops. Weird.

Any news on whether or not they will be making bigger sizes for men? My boyfriend wears a size 17 (yes, huge, I know lol) shoe and would like to join the Crocs bandwagon. I have already emailed the company, but got no reply back.

Could someone please let me know if there is a website that I can check out the crocs and what else they carry. And if you can purchase them anywhere in the Chicagoland/suburbs area.

Thanks,
Debbie K.

I bought a pair of the niles and I like them okay. I wish that they had the scutes before I bought them though. They look like they would be better for me than the niles. I'll know next time.

yes, it's www.crocs.com They have all the styles, including the "special" ones made for those with foot problems and diabetes.

Hi,
I just ordered the scutes from the croc website. I was wondering about the size. I usually take an 8 1/2 so I ordered a 9. You said yours seemed smaller, so I was wondering how true to size are they? Also, how long did it take you to get them? Thanks.

I have 3 pairs of Crocs: Beach, Athens, and Nile. The Beach is an 8/9, and the Athens and Nile's are size 8. I normally wear a 7 1/2 wide. I ordered the Scutes in a size 8, and I could wear them, but my heel was to the very end of the bed of the foot, so I'm going to exchange them for a size 9.

I haven't looked at the Athens or Niles, but my Beach's say they were made in the US, the Scutes were made in China-I don't know if that is part of the difference, or if they are just sized slightly different.

I ordered directly from Crocs and they ship FedEx Ground Home Delivery. I'm in Alaska, so it took 5 business days to arrive (I ordered on a Friday and they arrived the following Friday)

Oh boy, I hate to rain on your parade, but DO NOT under any circumstance wear the Niles to WDW!!! I took took pair of Airwalks, and one pair of Niles. The day I wore the Niles I was in agony - throbbing feet, major blisters and hot spots. They are no where near as chusioned as the airwalks. My airwalks were heaven on the other hand. I can't comment on the scutes.

Would the Athens be a good choice for Disney's Animal Kingdom?

That is depressing---I love my airwalks and have been wearing them for months now. Just ordered Niles, which should arrive today, and now I wonder if I made a mistake. Ill try them over the summer before our November trip. Guess maybe Ill stick to airwalks and my regular old sandals!

Ok got the Niles--they look like prison shower shoes! I got the khaki. They are not uncomfortable, tho there was a little bump on one part that was pressing--I used a nail file and filed it off, so they are not too bad. But the strap is super long, just not happy with them...

So I got a pair of Payless airwalks--and in 30 seconds cut off the toe part-- now I have airwalk/Niles! Im thrilled. Might sell my real Niles on Ebay.
