I was wanting a pair and wanted to know if they are comfortable enough for walking around the park?

I was there last week and wore my tennis shoes the first 2 days. My feet and legs were absolutely killing me. I had my Crocs but had never worn them with shorts, not very attractive. The 3rd day I decided what the heck, I don't know anybody here and wore them. Absolute heaven!! They were so comfortable. I will always wear them from now on. The currently make a flip flop style and I am going to buy them tomorrow. I hope they will be as comfortable as the regular ones.

My mom has the knock-off from payless. Are the real crocs more comfy and better for your feet? She was thinking of getting a pair. I have never seen the flip flop style.

I'm not sure about the knock offs. Mine are the real thing. I'm going to try the flip flop ones, they will be a lot more stylish for summer than the clogs.

I was lurking around on the Crocs website and saw a "stylish" pair and the flip flop ones. I was thinking of getting a pair before our trip next week. They are not the prettiest in the world but just look so comfy.

I haven't worn my Crocs at the DLR yet, but I have worn them to Legoland and didn't have any problems with my feet all day. I'll definitely use them up at the DLR next month when we go!

I have a pair of the flip flops. What I don't have is a pair of 'regulars' to compare them to....but the flip flops are comfy so far. I did step on a nail with the flip flops on, and the croc saved me about a 1/2 inch of nail in my foot...and I have been wearing them since the nail went into my foot. But for all day at Disney ....I'm just not sure. I'm trying to find out about a new style called
'relief' which are supposedly cushier (still ugly).

I don't think the flip flops are ugly at all...and they certainly don't sweat or get clammy.

I bought some Athens a few days ago, they seem comfortable so far. I enjoy the little "spring" you get in your heal.

I was wondering whether or not they were comfortable. I agree with you, they aren't the most attractive shoe in the world. It's good to know that they don't cause pain in your feet.

Every time I buy a pair of shoes I put them through the "Disney feet test." I wear them around the parks for a day and if they hurt my feet I try to find a more comfortable pair. ;) I haven't found one yet so maybe I should buy a pair of Crocs. I've tried Skechers, Vans and Adidas (I found Adidas to be the most painful). I just got a new pair of KSwiss and would like to try it out. I guess crocs is the way to go. :)

I haven't worn them to DL yet, but I wear them just about everywhere I go. I've only had a problem once and that was a couple weeks ago when I decided to go for a long brisk walk. I ended up getting a blister on the side of my foot where the strap connects. I'm hoping that the walking in DL won't do that to me.

I have 4 pairs of Crocs, two Beach and two Athens. I just spent 4 days in Disneyland and wore my Athens everyday! For the first time ever, I had no leg or foot pain and I did not get any blisters. These shoes are heaven! I saw a lot of people wearing them at Disneyland!

I am going to buy a few more pairs of the Athens for the summer. I wear mine every day!!!

I wore my crocs our entire WDW vacation (the athens style) LOVED THEM!!! I still wear them every single day.

I had never heard of Crocs until last month. There was a large group (12+) of people in front of me in line for Alice and they all had on these funny looking shoes, so I asked them what the deal was. They RAVED about their Crocs, insisting that they were the most comfortable shoes ever. I've spent lots a whole lot more looking for Disney comfort and have a feeling these will do better than shoes costing 2-3 times as much.

I bought my first pair yesterday, and took an immediate liking to them. My teenage DS wants me to get him a pair too. We'll know if they pass the Disney test in a month or so.

I have the regular crocs and the flip-flop ones, I much prefer the flip-flops just because they seem to fit a lot better. The regular crocs are a little wide for me. I saw a new style that had an adjustable backstrap to it, but it was only available in large sizes. It looked like it had a better fit than the regular, and the bottom was more rugged looking. Does anyone have a pair of those?

I have a bright pink pair and a bright green pair. I would love just plain black but I'm never lucky enough to find them in my size.

I tried some Crocs on, but my feet are narrow and they didn't feel good to me. I'm afraid they would be flopping off my heels all day. The shoes I love are my Chaco sandals. They have a great arch and I can wear them all day and night with no arch or foot pain.

We were at WDW in May and saw a gazillion people with them on. I bought a pair when I got home and I love them. I have one small issue with them and that's due to a medical condition (neuropathy). However, I was on their website over the weekend and they now make Crocs for diabetics and the new style would address the sensitivity issues.

Not to hijack the thread but do boys wear Crocs? My DS-10 loves borrowing mine when we're in the house. And he could use a pair of summer sandals...

I have never tried them, but here's my question, do your feet sweat something awful in them? I just can't imagine wearing rubber shoes! The flip flops may be a better idea.

I wear my Chaco sandles during the day, and either tennis shoes or Birkenstock Boston clogs at night!
I am not a fan of rubber shoes either.....but to each their own!

Folks over on the WDW side of the DIS just rave about Crocs! Even folks with various foot problems claim to be able to wear Crocs all day at the park without pain or blistering.

They are apparently made of some sweat-free, odor-resistent material. I tried on a knock-off brand at a local department store; they feel weird but in a good way, a bit like walking on marshmallows. (TIP: Croc wearers are saying to buy a full size smaller than you typically wear.)

ElenitaB, I have read of whole families of Croc wearers (including Dads), so if your son doesn't mind wearing them, by all means get him a pair!

I can't quite bring myself to buy a pair of the clogs, but am seriously considering getting a pair of the flip-flops. :)

I'm from Hawaii, the croc shoes actually gained popularity in the surf community here before the rest of the island caught on. My son and his friends have been wearing them for a while now, my daughter just got her first pair this summer.
