First. Crocs are great (yes, even for walking all day, but be sure to get the right style for it, they cayman's may not be the right fit). And make sure there is tread left, you do that and they are great, even in wet conditions. Also, crocs have very thick soles (helped a lot when I stepped on a glass bottle, the model I had on were even thicker than the typical model, plus there was no fabric in my wound, which actually saved a doctor's visit).
There are many different models of crocs, including dress shoes (which I wear at work, although it is time for a new pair, but they have lasted around a year, which is a really long time for shoes for me, even with Nike's (which usually last the longest), I have to replace them every 6 months.
