I just bought crocs for an upcoming trip. I hope I love them but am afraid I’ll regret it. Do you like crocs at the parks? We’ll be in the parks for three days.

Some background. I’m a 41 year old male. I have a bunion on my left foot that gets sore sometimes. I don’t want to wear wet shoes so I thought a sandal option would be good. I tried Teva sandals but they put pressure on the bunion. The crocs are sandal style but no pressure.

Have you worn crocs at the park, and if so what was the outcome?

Used to get blisters when wearing tennis shoes and socks.

First wore crocs at WDW in 2009, and have been wearing them ever since. 21 trips since then, and not a single blister.

My fam and I always do crocs in the parks. Not a great fashion statement, but very comfy and nice for rain or wet rides. Love them.

I swear by Vionics but whatever you choose, don’t make Disney your first long day to wear them. Any new shoe/sneaker/sandal should be broken in to see how u do.
Nothing worse than blistered hurting feet at Disney
Good luck and enjoy ur visit

My family goes for a walk every night. About 30 minutes. I’ll wear them then and any other time outside work to break them in. I have about a month to go.

Do they have arch support? Does that factor in yo your decision at all?

I like Crocs, but the clogs generally rub the tops of my feet and it isn't great for me. I have Crocs flip flops and sandals that I wear all the time and have had no problems.

I wore them at Disneyland last year with no problems.

If you have arch issues at all, I recommend KURU Shoes. They've got sandals and sneakers and other shoes with actual, honest-to-goodness arch support built in. They are absolutely amazing and have fixed my messed-up feet.

I love the Crocs Swiftwater shoes.. They have a croc sole but the upper part is cloth and dries quickly. No blisters. And they don't take up a lot of room if you are packing them in luggage.

I went through a period of wearing crocs until everytime I got caught in the rain I started slipping. Once I fell, that was it. As comfy as they are, not worth falling in the rain. I'm back to sneakers.

I wore my croc flip flops once to the park. They weren't my favorite shoe for a long day at the park. We had walked over 10K steps and by the end of the day sides of my feet next to the plastic were red ( but no blisters ) and the bottom of my feet were really sore.

I also agree with A Mickeyfan - I've worn them at home and gotten my feet wet and walked right out of them.

I should note, I have wide feet so the rubbing could have been due to that in addition to being on my feet all day.

Our family loves Crocs! I bought a pair last year for the inevitable rain and ended up wearing them almost the whole time. One downside I'm afraid we're going to run into this year is that Crocs can really trap in the heat (it'll be September) so I planned ahead and bought a pair of Croc flip flops to change into throughout the day.

One thing I can suggest if you're apprehensive (I was) is wear them around for a day or so. This should help you determine whether or not they'll work for you, if they're going to rub blisters, etc.

I love crocs flip flops. Very comfortable, perfect for cruises, vacations or just being casual in the summer.

I have a pair of crocs sandals. And while they’re pretty good, I do start getting blisters if I walk around too long in them. My previous sandals were Keens, and I’ll likely go back to that brand.
