help... is it true that crocs should fit loose one size up from norm size?
do they run big or small???? they dont sell them near me and must buy on internet or is this a mistake i usually like to try on stuff?

A rep from the company told me that your foot should actually 'float' in the shoe and when you set your foot in the shoe there should be a space of 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch all around your foot and also don't use the strap when trying it on because that can be adjusted later. If you need to buy through the mail it is probably better to use a company with liberal return policies and if you are really not sure which size then order 2 sizes and return one.

I'm new to Crocs, and I bought a pair a couple days ago, my feet were floating as was suggested. They felt great!! I put them on this morning, and it seems they have tightened up a bit on me. Nothing too drastic, but a definite, more snug feeling than before.

I'm stumped. Like I said, I'm new to Crocs so I don't know why.

should mary jane crocs
"float" too ? The rear strap doesn't even touch my ankle, is that normal? Sorry, I'm new to crocs too:confused3

So are you all buying your normal size? Size up? Size down? I, too, have to buy online.

I suggest buy up. I normally wear 9-9.5, and I need the 10 to keep my toes from bumping. They definitely run wide. I can't wear them because I have narrow feet.

I bought my true size. I first purchased the Caymen shoe which is suppossedly "a more slimmed down version of the original Beach model". Well, I took it back because it was rubbing the top of my foot-they are not quite as wide either. FYI the Caymen ones are sized in a whole size( W 6), not a size range (6/7) like the Beach. I bought the Beach and they are fine...I didn't size up either.

My suggestion is to try to find a Hallmark Store or Dick's Sporting Goods and try them on first, then if you need to order online you might know better which size to get.

For me, Crocs run just a touch big...but the wideness makes up for it. I've been buying shoes (ie: Crocs) online from shoebuy.com because they always have discount codes, free shipping, free RETURN shipping, no tax. The free return shipping is great. (To find current codes, just google 'shoebuy coupon codes').

I always go thru ebates.com when I buy from shoebuy.com because you earn 10% cash back in addition to any coupon codes you have. With ebates, once you earn $5 in ebates in a 3 mth time, they send you a check. Don't worry...not a hoax, I've received checks. :) http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?id=31781971

For those of you who have feet on the narrow side; Holey Soles fit MUCH better than Crocs. Our big gardening center carries them, $29.99, I have also seen them for $9.99 at Tuesday Morning, and they can be ordered from holeysoles.com. I normally wear a 6 and a half and for me the size S (Women's 6-7) fits perfectly, even with arch supports inserted.
