Croc SCUTES

Haven't tried these...but they look much better than the original crocs. I do have the croc flip flops that I ordered from nofeargear.com, and they shipped SO FAST. AWESOME!

I like the way those look! I don't wear my other (clogs) with shorts or capris but I would wear those. :thanks: for info. :goodvibes

I might have to even get a pair of those .Maybe the black /lime green.

What's the advice for buying Crocs? I have a relatively narrow foot and wear a 9-1/2 in a deck shoe. Partner wears a wide 10.

Which sizes should we look at?

I'm going to have to get a pair of those! I have 3 Crocs right now: Beach, Athens, and Nile but I definately need some of those!

No.....not this style.

Nofeargear was awsome! I ordered my G-kids Crocs and some Croc socks from them they were AAA+++++++ for shipping and service.

Thanks for sharing. :teeth:

They're not bad, but the top seems awfully wide. I am waiting for them to do a 2 strap sandal, sort of like a classic Birkenstock Arizona.

Oh, Mommy!
These are the Crocs I've been waiting for....a sandal without the stinkin' thing between my toes! :cheer2:

Before I order them online, though I'm gonna check my local sources...I'd really like to try them on first...I've found the Crocs can vary from shoe to shoe even in the same size. If not, though...baby...I'm so ordering for my summer trips. :cool1:

Thanks so much for posting the link! :grouphug:

Those shoes are really cute and i would get them but i dont see them on the crocs website. I did a search on their site too and it yeilded nothing. Why????

They dont have my size anyway, i will just wait till i can buy them on the official site before i get them anywhere else, for now i will get the athens i guess.

After reading the thread yesterday, I checked around locally and voila! My new chocolate and khaki Scutes...

Sorry, it's not the best quality...it's from the cell phone, the only camera I can upload quickly.

As for the sizing...the clerk at the store told me the smallest size they received was a woman's size 9 (men's size 7), which are what size the ones I bought are. I have the Beach in a medium (8-9). I'm guessing the company is marketing the Scutes more toward the men, while the Athens is geared toward the women. I've only worn them around the house so far, but pretty comfy as expected. The heels have extra cushion in them...like that! And the footbed is wide like the Beach not narrow like the Nile sandal. The strap part on top of the foot fits snug closer to the ankle, but is looser near the toes...pretty comfy so far.

And just a bit OT here....DH now calls me a "CROC-head" since I'm addicted to them...I really got a wee buzz after buying these..maybe I need therapy. :confused3

My DH just got just got them and he said that they are comfy but the straps are to loose. He does not like the fact that you cannot adjust them like the Nike's. They do fit closer towards the ankle and loose towards the toe which gives him the feeling they are going to fall off. :rolleyes2

I got the Beach and they are a little to small but the next size up are just way way too big i have so much room the strap does not even come close to touching the back of my foot. I am sticking with the smaller (8-9) and will try to strech them out somehow. :confused3

Crocs are comfy shoes but i hate the sizing. They just dont seem to fit right :sad2:
