OK, about a week ago, a small boutique store near me was going out of business, and they had a few pairs of crocs on a really good sale, so I picked up a pair. I LOVE crocs, and already own 2 pairs, but they are both the Mickey ones, which I believe are the "beach" style. Silly me, I didn't try the new ones on, just bought the size I normally wear. I think these must be the "Cayman" style, because they are soooooo tight on my feet! They are OK in length (toe to heel) but nowhere NEAR wide enough, I simply cannot wodge my fat little feet into them.
Of course, the boutique is gone now, so I cannot return them. Plus, I have been wearing them (or trying to anyway) so they aren't "new" anymore.
So, does anyone know of a way to stretch them out a little? I know they will eventually "mold to my feet", or they would, if I could get my feet INTO them!! I was wondering about heat... for instance if I were to soak them in some REALLY hot water, then immediately put them on, would that help them to stretch more or easier? Any other thoughts, short of donating them to the Salvation Army and writing off the loss??
