CRO said no, but I got it anyway

We currently have resv for POR for June 6th-15th. After booking POR and hearing about the renovations, we wanted to split our stay with the AKL. For the past week or two I haven't been able to get any discounts with any of the codes for June 11-15th. Today I went back on the Disney World site and was able to get the AKL for $155 ($139 + tax) using the code they had e-mailed me, I did't finish booking all the way because I wanted to modify my previous POR resv. So I called Disney CRO and he told me that rate wasn't available with the code. I told him I just got it on-line at their site, and he told me it probably wasn't up-dated. I got off the phone with him and went and booked it all the way through and still got the $155.
This is our 3rd trip in a year to WDW with AP's but our 1st time to AKL. So every $ I couldn't save helps.

Great job. I think that sometimes the on-line service has access to a different block of rooms than CRO. Probably Disney's way of tracking the success of it's marketing.

I wanted to change my CR reservations to POR. I wanted to go back to my favorite resort before it closes for a while and save some money for shopping. I went online and it was going to let me book it, so I called WDTC and asked to have it changed. I was told no rooms were available. So, I said fine, I'll just cancel these and book the POR online. She put me on hold, came back and, lo and behold!, they had availability. They apparently don't like it when you switch to a less expensive resort. Tough! She was nice though.....it wasn't her fault, guess it's just "business."
