CRO and DVC reservations

We have a DVC reservation booked for 9/30, but we are flying into MCO on 9/28 now. If we get a CRO reservation for POFQ those nights, would it merge on MDE to allow me to book all of my FP starting with the CRO reservation or will I have to wait until Aug 1 for the DVC BLT Ressie to hit 60 days?

I have experienced that it works for length of split stay for DVC only trips, but don't know the CRO plus DVC combined trip answer.

Please report back your experience when you try to book, as it is a good question...

If the CRO reservation does not appear on DME, you just add it and then you can do FP+ for those dates as well, up to 60 days before. We stayed at AoA before a DVC trip and worked like a charm. BTW, you will get MBs for each reservation. And you can use all of the MBs at each location. However, I would use each MB to unlock your room at each resort to make sure it works. We found that the gates to the pools do not unlock unless you have used the MB on your door at the resort and even the laundry rooms (even at a DVC resort) will not open unless you have have used the MB to unlock your room. We didn't have any problems with the MBs at the parks.

Awesome! Thanks so much for the tips on the MB - I would have been stressing out for sure if we couldn't get them to work at the pool before checking into our actual room!! I booked for 2 nights - ended up at A value for the first time ever....we still need to decide for sure if we will stay there or go to buena vista suites those nights, but I am sure the kids will love the pools at Sports after a long travel day after school!
