Criuse with points #of adults needed?

I was thinking of taking my niece on the 3 day cruise for her 16th b-day. How do I figure out the points: Do I need to calculate for two adults or an adult and a child. All of the points charsts say 1st/2nd psassenger. So I guess my question is if there are only two of us do I use full pointsand not child points

Whether you book with points or cash, the first two passengers are always charged the same, regardless of the age of the second passenger. Whether it's a 3 year old or a 30 year old, it's the same.
