We have a visitor behind the wall in our hallway. He/she is not a happy camper. It really freaked out when I ran the vacuum yesterday. Actually, it was when I turned off the vacuum that I first heard him. Don't know how long he has been there, I really don't vacuum that often.
DH has been painting the eaves and left the vents off for a few days. Our visitor got in then I guess. I am pretty sure it got tangled up in something behind the wall down by the floor. DH made it clear he is not going to go after it until we no longer hear movement. I want him to knock out a hole in the bathroom cabinet directly behind the place in the hallway where we here it. DD10 just cringes at letting the thing die back there.
Not sure that it is a mouse, we are blessed with a large squirrel population due to our many trees and the sunflower seeds I put out for the cardinals.
Anybody have any ideas what we shoud do?
I have heard horror stories about the odor that can result if the varmint dies.
Whenever we tackle a home project like this painting gig, something bad always results. This is par for the course.
