So here are our ressies. I need to narrow it down to 7 TS credits. I am undecided about the 1st day's itinerary. What are you thoughts? We are trying some new places and our stand-bys. Currently staying at POFQ unless they decided to release a GP RO. See sig for family members and ages. Here they are:

10/27 (arrival day) Plan to get to Epcot at 4pm:
4:10pm Garden Grill (never been)
or
8pm La Ha San Angel (never been)
or:rotfl:
QS somewhere...prob Mexican pavilion

10/28 AK, naps, MNSSHP............all QS this day

10/29 DHS in a.m. and DTD in evening..........all QS this day

10/30 8:25am CP (have only done dinner there previously)
8:10pm Ohana (must do for us)

10/31 8:20am TH (never been)
7:15pm HDDR (never been)

11/1 11:20 Sci-Fi (trying in place of our usual 50s PTC)
or
5:45 50s PTC

11/2 10:00am CMC (logistically a pain to get there and wasting park time)

11/3 QS then depart

San Angel Inn is really good, and they serve a mean margarita. You may have trouble steering the stroller afterwards.

Tusker House is our favorite place for breakfast. Big buffet, great characters, although I think thay changed a bit since we were there last sept. Also the Jamba juice is excellent!

I think La Hacienda on your arrival day would be a great choice. Have read some great reviews of the place, and am looking forward to eating there next week! Garden Grill would be fun, but you already have lots of character meals booked.

If you need to lose a TS credit, then I think dumping Cape May (is that what you meant by CMC?) would be a good idea. Unless you're planning an Epcot or DHS day, then it's out of the way. If you are planning an Epcot or DHS day, then the time means spending a whole morning outside the park.

I'd go Garden Grill on arrival. We LOVE La Hacienda... however an 8pm ADR normally has a back up due to people trying to hang around for illuminations. I would say you wouldn't be leaving until 9:30ish and then trying to get back to hotel 10:30ish. I'm not sure with 2 young kids I'd want that on a travel day. The character meal would be a great way to start your trip too!

10/28 - can you try to move tusker house here? I love that meal too.... but you have a late night the night before which makes this early breakfast even earlier. or maybe try to get the 10:30 meal on 31st. (Especially since you aren't eating dinner until so late.)

I think you have some great choices!

-----No. Your arrival time is too tight for the GG dinner, and I agree with the PP that the 8 pm TS dinner could get to be way too late. Go with QS. Sunshine Seasons has a lot of food choices.

10/28 AK, naps, MNSSHP............all QS this day
----- If you want to spread out the large meals, could you move the Tusker breakfast to this day? Even a very late breakfast rather than a pre-park-opening. A quick snack in the room or from the food court just to get the family going, then a late Tusker breakfast, then a single QS meal later in the day would set you up for snacks during MNSSHP.

10/29 DHS in a.m. and DTD in evening..........all QS this day

10/30 8:25am CP (have only done dinner there previously)
8:10pm Ohana (must do for us)
-----Both good choices & I would keep both.

10/31 8:20am TH (never been)
7:15pm HDDR (never been)
-----As above, move the Tusker breakfast if possible. They are both good choices, though.

11/1 11:20 Sci-Fi (trying in place of our usual 50s PTC)
or
5:45 50s PTC
-----Sci Fi should be fun. Look at the menu; this is often a good place to conserve credits by paying oop, especially if one or more people would rather just get apps & dessert, or share meals or something.

11/2 10:00am CMC (logistically a pain to get there and wasting park time)
-----Cape May late breakfast? Why? Where are you going to be this day?
11/3 QS then depart

Based on the above, you could use 1 TS 10/28, 2 TS 10/30, 2 TS 10/31; that would make 5, leaving you 2 more. Pay oop for the Sci-Fi lunch, skip the Cape May breakfast, and use the 2 remaining TS credits for dinners 11/1 and 11/2. Again, where are you going to be? If 11/1 is a DHS day, how about dinner at an Epcot area resort, maybe Cape May or Captain's Grill? Or if you have park hoppers, do Garden Grill this date if you really wanted the meal/characters and did not just list it on your arrival day because it happened to be available. On 11/2, maybe a resort restaurant you have not visited?

I agree...I think CMC is getting dumped until we have a BC stay sometime.

I can do 10:10 on the 28th at TH. I was just thinking the pre-RD ressie might be better. However, if we do 10:10 on the 28th we can go to EEMH and take a break for a late breakfast and then back to more rides. Might be a good option.

Our arrival time of 4pm was basically based on hitting that 4:10pm ADR at GG. It can be adjusted as need-be. So that is still a viable option. I sort of liked the 8pm La Ha ADR b/c I was hoping to see Illum from there. Would that not work?

I can do a 10:10 TH on the 28th instead. I just thought that pre-RD was better b/c people are always wanting those...but I really don't care. Spreading them out may work out better like you suggested.

The late CMC was due to that being the original resort we were staying at but since no GP RO code has come out I switched to POFQ. The plan was to sleep in, eat a late breakfast, go to the pool. Midday naps. Then to MK for the afternoon/evening to see Wishes and MSEP. Now that we are not staying there, we will prob drop it and do it another time when we do stay there.

On one of the DHS days, preferably 11/1, I would really like the Fantasmic package at MM. However, Fant was recently added to everyday of our trip, as opposed to just one or two days and the dining has not been updated to allow for booking of the Fant dining package. So I am watching for that.
Paying OOP for Sci Fi is a good idea though.:thumbsup2 Maybe we will do that and it will free up a credit to use for a Kona dinner on the 2nd or something like that.

Thanks for your ideas.

OP: regarding the F. Package. I just read on another thread that they have finally added on the additional days, so you should be able to book the package for whatever day you wanted. You'll have to be quick, though.

We've been to La Ha trying to see illuminations and it's a nightmare to be honest. There are very few tables that can actually see it and they won't let you "wait" for a window table since just about everyone wants to. It's luck of the draw and at that time of night they tend to be backed up... since people with window seats tend to draw it out when they would normally have flipped the table.

A 10:10 breakfast will be awesome! That is the time we normally do. You will get a TON done with EMH before and then be ready for a good meal by then. Plus you will have fp in hand for after breakfast! PERFECT!

I canceled the la ha and garden grill adrs b/c a 5:25 CR finally opened up and I thought the kids would like it and it's not buffet which is good. We will play it by war and can always do qsdp if we don't want to rush to dinner on our first afternoon.
