My boyfriend and I (both in our 20s) are taking our first ever trip to the World in 2 weeks! Ad we have the Disney Dining Plan.

I've been a good Disney newbie and made our ADRs already. Please critique and let me know what you think! You're the experts! :)

1/11 - Arriving at the World around dinner time, so no ADRs this night
1/12 - Narcoossee's Dinner (using 2 TS credits here)
1/13 - Teppan Edo Dinner
1/14 - Cape May Cafe Dinner
1/15 - Boma Breakfast
1/16 - Via Napoli Dinner
1/17 - Be Our Guest Lunch (Fast Pass!)
Ohana Dinner

Be Our Guest is a great choice! Delicious (get a cupcake!) and a very cool experience.

I think you made some great choices! And covering a nice variety of cuisines too.

Narcoossee's is excellent if you have the extra credits to use!

Teppan Edo is a Disboards favorite but not ours. Compared to Teppanyaki restaurants in our home town, or just outside WDW it ranks only fair. If you do not have such a place near you then it is fun, food is good, just isn't as good as what we can get at home.

Cape May Cafe is a very good buffet if you like snow crab legs and other seafood. I am not a sea food lover but am going because my wife and niece who are going love it!! Non seafood items such as carved meats, chicken etc. are good but I would not go there without majority of group loving seafood.

Boma is one of the best for both breakfast and dinner. Be sure to go outside to view the animals before or after you dine. There are 3 areas you can go to.

Via Napoli is another that many here love but that I disagree with. Food was just ok, ambiance so-so. The biggest problem was service. We had ok service and gave a 15% tip and left. Outside the restaurant almost to the lake our waiter came running after us, shoving the bill in our face insisting we had not paid enough for a drink we had. What he was doing was figuring in 20% tip which left not enough to cover the one drink. We were only a party of 3. He argued for awhile and we told him that we decide how much tip to leave. At that point I wish we had not even left 15%. Food wasn't good enough for us to try again.

Ohana's is one of our favorites. It is a meat lovers restaurant. Some complaints have been their meats were over done. If that happens ask the waiter to bring you some rare or medium and they will. Always fun, always great service.

Thanks for your feedback on our epcot choices. I'm curious as to what you'd propose as alternatives? We'd like to use only 1 TS credit (since we're already using 2 on Narcoossee's). Would like to stay in Epcot, but wouldn't be opposed to walking to Epcot area resorts.

We have eaten at Rose and Crown twice and really enjoyed it both times! It may be a good alternative for you. Both times we made our ADR's about 730 and were able enjoy Illuminations from their dedicated viewing area! Very nice location!

Bear in mind that every one will have VERY different experiences. Each and every one of us. That happens in Disney and every where else too.

My last visit to Ohana was a couple years ago, because it was some of the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant in my LIFE. However, both times I've been to Via Napoli have been great!

It really depends on what you like. We love San Angel, excellent food and the ambiance is one of Epcots best. Because they serve authentic Mexican its not for everyone. Not necessarily spicy hot, but not what many expect from typical Mexican restaurants. You won't find tacos, burritos, chimichangas etc. on the menu. What they do have is excellent. Theres also a fun little ride inside to go on while waiting for your table to be ready.

Chefs De France has excellent food and generally great service although we did have one bad experience. But as others note, that can happen anywhere.

Coral Reef we've always had good food but reading comments it appears it depends on what you order. Love watching the huge aquarium while we dine. One of a kind dining experience.

Cape May Cafe is very good but only if you enjoy seafood. The ambiance isn't as nice as other restaurants but not bad. Desserts are very good.
