We (3 adult women, me, my sister, and our mom) are staying at POR April 26-May 2. We haven't been to WDW since the 90's, when my sister and I were about 5 and 8 years old. We have 3 day tickets, no park hoppers. We are not going to DHS as we are not as interested in the rides/attractions there as the other 3 parks (although not riding TOT will be disappointing).

April 26: We get into MCO at 11:30am and plan on taking DME to POR and hanging out/checking in whenever we can. We will take the bus to our dinner reservation at the Grand Floridian Cafe at 5pm. I'd really like to hit Trader Sam's afterwards, which contributed to my decision to have dinner at the GF, as it is on the monorail and easy access I suppose. Have drinks and possibly stick around for fireworks.

April 27: We are planning on going to UOF/IOA this day. We got the Unlimited Express Passes for both parks. Plan to have breakfast at POR and Uber/Lyft to IOA at 8am. Do Hagrid's first and then the rest of the 2 parks. Probably eat lunch at a restaurant in HP and possibly dinner at City Walk. Then Uber/Lyft back to POR at park close. If it were just me, I would buy DAH tickets for MK this night and leave UOF/IOA earlier, but with our mom, I don't think she would be up for this as our other days are very packed and we RD Epcot the next morning.

April 28: Epcot day which has EMH 9pm-11pm. We have breakfast reservations at 7:30am at The Wave at the Contemporary. We plan to take the bus from POR to MK and walk to the Contemporary. Then take the Epoct monorail. We hope to have FP for Spaceship Earth at 11, Mission Space at 12, and FEA at 1. I am nervous about having enough time to eat breakfast and make RD, as we are planning on rope dropping Test Track then heading to Soarin'. Our morning consists of the other attractions/rides with our FP in-between, hopefully being completed with Future World before 1, and heading into the World Showcase to Mexico for our FEA FP and the rest of WS. We have no reservations as we are there during F&G and plan to eat at the booths/QS. I am still contemplating Space 220 dinner... We plan to stay until 11pm, unless we are just done earlier.

April 29: MK day with EMH 9pm-11pm. We have a PPO breakfast at CRT for 8am. Being in the castle is the real draw to us, character meet and greets not so much. We'd like to be out by 9am, but it won't break us if we aren't (I've read mixed reviews of whether you are at CRT forever or rushed, however, we plan to be at MK early, so we actually get seated at 8am, rather than have other people with later reservations get seated before us). Our FP hopes are PP at 11, SDMT at 12, and Space Mountain at 1. If we do get our wish and are done with breakfast by 9am, we plan to RD BTMR. Do Frontierland, Adventureland, head to Fantasyland for rides/FP, get QS lunch or just a snack, Tomorrowland, kind of bouncing back between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland for the after noon based on FP/lines. We have dinner reservations at BOG at 6pm. The rest of the night is repeating rides/attractions/going to one's we might have missed because of lines, hit Liberty Square and HM. We plan to head to the front of the castle for HEA around 8:30pm. And again we plan to stay until 11pm, unless we are just done.

April 30: AK day no EMH. Breakfast at POR and I think I've decided that we will RD FOP, because I have a feeling I'll want to ride it twice. We do hope to get FP for EE at 11, KS at 1, and FOP at 3. The FP are so spread out because AK doesn't seem to have a flow that works better as we aren't people who want to run back and forth for things. We can RD FOP and NRJ then head to Dinoland, then Asia, Africa, and back to Pandora, while taking our time in those areas for trails/other attractions, and lunch. I did purchase the ROL dessert package even though it probably isn't the best one, it allows us to not have to wait in line to see the show (that's hard to see other than from the designated viewing area), or use a FP. Plus it's "free" alcohol. At some point, we really want to see Pandora at night, so might slip out of the dessert party before the show and walk around Pandora, and back into the party for the show at 8:30pm.

May 1: Resort/swim day. Plan is to just relax this day and go swimming. We have dinner reservations at Homecomin' at 6pm, planning to take the boat to DS around 5, maybe go shopping. We did get tickets to the Cirque du Soleil show. Afterwards head back to the resort, and our flight is the next morning.

My mom keeps asking me when we will sleep...

I don't see any problems with your plans - looks pretty well thought out to me. It's going to be 4 very full days, but I guess you know that already!

That said, I'd probably have done the resort/swim day in the middle of the trip, to give a bit of a break from going around the parks. But that's just personal preference.

I think making RD at Epcot from the Wave will be nearly impossible. Even if you could its a lot of travel time for a restaurant that is not really worth the trouble. I would change to a PPO at Garden Grill. Or if you don't want to add another character meal, choose a restaurant at a Crescent Late resort - uber there and then walk to Epcot for RD. Check out Ale and Compass at the Yacht Club - it would offer a similar dining experience to the Wave.

I'd skip the Wave. i doubt you'd make it back to Epcot in time. Eat at your resort or at Epcot or Beach Club.

We’re not “big breakfast” people, so we’d prob only do one sit-down in a trip and prob none on a trip this short. But if that’s your thing, sounds like a good plan. Agree about timing of The Wave. Maybe show up at 7 instead—I’ve never seen it crowded in there at breakfast. Or try the Bon Voyage breakfast on the boardwalk instead.

Would your mom be okay going back to the resort alone and letting you girls do DAH? Just a thought if she’s looking for some rest. (I say you can sleep when you’re dead, but your mom might not think that’s as funny as my mom did LOL)

Also, I’m always thinking about where I’m going to eat next, so think about whether you want to grab something offsite for lunch on your way. Don’t know what options POR has these days (check allears for menus).

It sounds like an amazing trip....have fun!
