OK we are heading to Disney next week and I want some advice on my plans. My son is 4 and wants to meet as many characters as possible he gets motion sickness so we wont be doing very many rides most likely. We have deluxe dining and some adrs but will make more once we arrive.

Sunday- arrival day at POR dinner at Chef Mickeys may go to park for extra magic hours may not depending on how tired we are

Monday- 8 am Hollywood and Vine character breakfast, finish breakfast and run to Jedi Training sign up. Fastpass + for toy story mania, voyage of hte little mermaid, and star tours. Fantasmic dinner package at Brown Derby.

Tuesday- Breakfast at 1900 Park fare, reservation at Pirates League, Fast pass for Buzz lightyear, jungle cruise and pirates. Watch Festival of fantasy parade. Dinner at Crystal palace and watch electrical parade.

Wednesday- 8:10 Akshus reservation, run to meet anna and elsa after breakfast, then explore epcot. Fastpass for Test track, nemo, and turtle talk with crush. Lunch at coral reef. Dinner at Garden grill. Watch illuminations.

Thursday- breakfast at Cape may not decided on a park yet.

Friday- breakfast at ohana. Fast passes at Enchanted Tales with Belle, Peter Pan's Flight, and Meet Rapunzel at Fairytale hall.

I wouldn't rely on having the opportunity to make more ADRs once you're there as this is an incredibly busy time of the year. Reservations will be open but you may find them at times that don't work for you (ie: a 10pm dinner) or offering cuisine that you don't particularly like.

That seems like an awful lot of food. What time is your Coral Reef ADR? The wait time for Anna and Elsa climbs into the hours so if your lunch is at 12pm there's a good chance you'll miss it.

I thought the Anna and Elsa line couldn't have very many people in it until after the park opens? Epcot doesn't open until 9 so even if my husband scarfs down some breakfast before heading over the their met and greet we should still be one of the first people in line right? We have one of the earliest Adr times so theoretically we should be one of the first people in the park. Am I missing something?

It all depends on your timing. If your DH is diligent on scooting out of Akershus and into line, you should make the first M&G session. Epcot's official opening time is 9am but guests are usually let in starting at 8:45 and by a couple of minutes after 9am there are already enough guests in line to extend into the 10am set.

My only concern is that you have some very full days with a 4 year old who will likely get really tired. Hope you have some down time scheduled for him

He naps pretty well on the move since we have a stroller and I have planned a trip back to the hotel for a nap each day if needed. I think he will be ok but if hes too tired to enjoy it after the first day we will adjust accordingly on the fly. I'm a little worried about lines though since he doesn't really have any practice with it. Thursday may be a chill out and rest day or just go back to ride some favorites.

I am a big one for mid-day breaks. I just dont know how you will have time to do anything else with a mid day break and all of the ADR's. If i were you i wouldnt do so many table service meals, but it looks like you have the deluxe plan now and i dont think you have time to switch it. I wouldnt count on having time to go back to the resort for a mid-day nap, if you want to fit anything else in.

Well since you asked lol. Your plans for the first day could be a little adventuresome. You didn't say how you were traveling or when you would get to POR. Are you counting on DT or are you driving your own car. POR to the Contemporary will take a little navigating. Also as a PP said you have some serious long days with your 4yo son. You know your son better then anyone but a cranky baby can put stress on the best of times. Have a great trip!

We are driving down so we will have our own car. we plan to arrive at the resort by 4pm. Our Chef Mickey is for 8:30 so carring any major delays at check in we should be good there time wise. Its late for dinner for Ds but its the only Adr time I could get all week there. I may be overly optimistic on how much we will accomplish in the parks but we only have maybe 7 must dos in each park so on paper it looks totally doable. We are mostly doing character meals and since a lot of our park time is focused on meeting the characters I don't feel the sit down meals are time suckers just strategic planning to minimize lines and get off our feet while still getting to check some characters off our list. :cool1:

Have I made good selections for fastpass+? Do they usually have long lines at those attractions? Which characters typically see the longest waits in the parks?
