I'd appreciate any suggestions you have for our family of 6 (3 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 child) going the second week of Jan staying at POR with FD. Some of the TS meals are not covered by the DDP, so we'll pay OOP for those: I'm thinking CRT and CMC.

Day 1: Arrival Day, half-day MK
breakfast: on the road
lunch: Kona Cafe
dinner: QS in MK

Day 2: MK Day, then hop to HS for EMH (7-10 PM)

late breakfast: CRT
lunch: probably just a couple of snacks
early dinner: CP

Day 3: MK Day, no hopping

breakfast: in room
lunch: LTT
dinner: QS in MK

Day 4: Break Day
breakfast in room
lunch: Sanaa
Dinner: QS in DTD or at POR

Day 5: Epcot day

breakfast in room
Lunch: Les Chefs de France
Dinner: either QS in Epcot or Rose and Crown (we'd pay OOP). Thoughts?

Day 6: Epcot
breakfast in room
Lunch: QS in Epcot
Dinner: Akershus

Day 7: Check out day

breakfast: Cape May Cafe
lunch: hopefully we'll pick up sandwiches at EoS
dinner: on the road

like a good line up.

I would look at DTD for a QS on Day 4. POR isn't bad but Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express are better. I like being able to decide at the last minute between the two since they are so close. The boat ride to DTD is nice and window shopping is a good way to work up an appetite or work off a meal.

I would look at the menus for LTT and Kona lunch for OOP instead of Cape May breakfast. Cape May is probably in the upper $20s for breakfast for adults. LTT and Kona have many entrees in the mid teens range. I think CRT is probably a good choice for OOP given where you're going.

It looks as if you have your meals spread out nicely. I can't help you with Rose & Crown. There are several good TS places in Epcot and a few in MK so no worries on repetition.

For Day 5, see if you can get Rose & Crown ADRs timed so that you can watch Illuminations from the restaurant (I'm not exactly sure what time you should make them so you can catch the show, which is at 9). If not, there are a ton of great QS options in Epcot--Sunshine Seasons and in many WS countries.
