We use snack credits for breakfast items on days we have lunches scheduled and for snack items on days we have breakfasts scheduled.

I know there are a few less expensive breakfasts on here that make the DxDP less valuable versus paying OOP. But I have to have my Kona Tonga Toast and WCC pancakes.

Also, what would you recommend between Akershus, Captain's Grille, and Hollywood & Vine for breakfast? (Akershus obviously provides the most dollar value per credit but, since we already have a princess breakfast at CRT, I'm really interested in the best food/selection on that particular day).

I wouldn't do H&V unless you have little ones that will enjoy the Disney Jr characters. It does not get very good reviews, and is your basic breakfast with nothing special other than the characters.

Wholeheartedly vote for Captain's Grille unless you have kids under 6 along.

Sounds like a great selection of restaurants, otherwise! We did a 12-day, 3-resort DxDDP trip last November and it rocked.

Yep, I'm leaning toward Captain's Grille. Akershus would be my second choice for that day (especially since DD loves princesses) but, since we already have CRT and 4 other character meals planned, it might be nice to have a more relaxing breakfast. Plus, I'm having a hard time getting excited about the food at Akershus (I know breakfast is more Americanized than lunch or dinner but the "buffet" portion looks limited and the "family style" portion looks heavy/greasy).

I didn't know you could do a Fantasmic package on the DXDP! That's handy. :)
