So I think I have made and remade reservations a hundred times. We ended up changing hotels and adding a day too. I need to stop torturing myself and walk away, lol.

Background is that dh and I are taking our four year old daughter with some serious medical issues from 7/29 to 8/2. We took her on a MAW trip (with our other kids, who are sitting out this one) in December, and it she was the happiest we had ever seen her. Her medical situation is not good, and we are dropping stuff and taking her again while it is still an option. We will be staying that the contemporary (tower, mk view!) so that transportation/afternoons at the hotel are easier for us. She is in a wheelchair and attached to quite a few medical things at all times (IV pumps, drainage bags, etc), and yes, we know about the GAC.

We added deluxe dining to our trip, because we love to eat good food, and because she has issues with heat and sun, and will need the breaks in a restaurant. She loves going out to dinner (despite the fact that she can't eat anything for medical reasons), and behavior should not be an issue. We chose to have early dinners because of dd, and to leave the cooler evenings free to head back into the parks for an hour or two. We are currently over on credits, but we don't really care-- we will just pay OOP for the cheaper meals.

So without further ado, here is our plan:

7/29:
Arrive mid- late morning (via car from IL's house in Jacksonville)
Head to AK after check in
12:30 Yak and Yeti
No break today, as we just plan to hit shows, and it should not be too much for dd
6:30 Jiko
May head over to MK for a look-see after dinner, but will probably just take dd back to the hotel.

7/30:
8:15 Cinderella's Royal Table (park opens at 9)
Grab snacks for lunch
1:00 MK Bippidi Boppidi Boo
Break at hotel
5:30 California Grill
Head to either Epcot or MK after dinner, if we feel like it

7/31:
HS at rope drop to get on TSM
12:05 Sci Fi Dine In
Either head back to the hotel or take a break on the boat to Epcot
6:15 Flying Fish Cafe
Epcot after dinner if we feel like it

8/1:
8:05 Akershus breakfast (park opens at 9)
12:00 Les Chefs de France
break at hotel
5:30 Narcoossee's
MK after dinner if we feel like it

8/2:
MK at rope drop (EMH morning)
12:00 Le Cellier
Spend the rest of our snack credits in the World Showcase getting treats for our other kids!
Drive back to IL's late afternoon.

Any criticisms or changes you'd make? The restaurants we are skipping that we were interested in are: Via Napoli, The Wave, Tutto Italia, and Kona Cafe. We purposely do not have any buffets because they are hard to do with dd.

Thanks!! This board is such a huge help!

Sounds like a good plan to me. My only comment is for 8/1, you might not need the full sit down lunch at Chefs. Between breakfast at Akershus and dinner at Narcoossee's, I'd be fine with a light lunch in EPCOT that day (either a burger or something from the counter service locations - or even a snack from the French Bakery).

I wanted to add since I saw your note at the bottom, Via Napoli is one of my favorites in EPCOT. I've had their pizzas, but their chicken and eggplant parms are delicious too.

This sounds like a perfect line-up. The way I look at it is that it's impossible to eat everywhere you'd like to try. It really sounds like a magical line-up. I can't wait to hear what you thought of the restaurants. Have fun!!

I hope you guys have an amazing time. My only thought is with Sci-Fi. If she is not able to get out of her wheelchair, she wouldn't be able to get into the car. You could sit at the tables, and if your OK with that, then great, but to me, most of the experience of eating at Sci-Fi is sitting in the cars. Maybe you could try for the Brown Derby or Mamma Melrose instead?
Just a thought - whatever you do, enjoy your baby, and have a wonderful time.

We thought about this-- she can get out of her chair, but it will depend on how she is feeling. I think this is a good location because everyone complains of it being too cold, lol. I think she would enjoy it regardless of where we sit. I think there is a table that is set up between two car ends as well, because we sat in it years ago with her two big sisters that were a toddler and baby at the time...

We have been to Brown Derby before, and dh was not impressed, not to mention that two signature meals in one day might be a bit much. And the reviews of Mama Melrose have been so mixed.....

Our Les Chefs plan is soup/sandwich/creme brulee. :) Counter service is hard for us because we need an air conditioned place to sit down.

I thought about doing Via Napoli this day, but she'd like to see Remy. I also thought about canceling one of our nice meals and heading over for pizza at night, but I can't bear to part with any of them, lol.

They do have places you can sit with a wheelchair. I believe they have both picnic type benches ( which they used to have a drive in theaters actually) and tables like you remember.

Hope you have a wonderful time, full of good memories.
