Cringe-y Sign on Car for Bachelorette Party

If I was out and saw a bachelorette party or a 21st birthday then I might buy them a drink. I probably wouldn’t venmo them money as they randomly drove by me though. At least the shot or the drink probably involves some chit chat and congratulating them. My friends and I bought a girl a drink in a completely dead restaurant during covid bc it clearly was a watered down covid version of whatever she probably pictured for her 21st. She seemed happy to have us 40 year old ladies toast to her lol -

Aren’t there funeral directors who donate their services to indigent families/individuals? Something simple but dignified. I’m not talking about so-called potter’s fields run by a city or other government subdivision.

In Canada there is a federal social insurance benefit that could be used. In Calgary (at least when I was interning to be a funeral director many years ago) the funeral homes all had an agreement to rotate taking the hardship cases on a monthly basis and provide the services in advance because the government money can take months to arrive. Persons on welfare or other government assistance would have their basic final expenses covered, yes. AFAIK there are no funeral homes that straight-up donate their services but maybe it does happen on a quiet, case-by-case basis.

Everything about Bachelorette and Bachelor parties are cringey.

I've been to several, none have been even remotely "cringey". The most recent one I went to we played board games at someone's house while drinking soda. Its not always accurate to generalize

Does this happen anywhere else? In my town, I saw a car driving that said "Gwen's Getting Married!! Buy the Bride a Shot!" with the Venmo information below. That seems really trashy to me, expecting strangers to give you money. Anyone else?

I saw it a ton when we lived near Nashville...very odd.
