I finally watched last night, I can get behind the new spinoff. It was interesting episode, not vacationing on spring break though.

I enjoyed last week's episode and look forward to the spinoff. But I like Gary Sinese and would have watched regardless.

I'm interested in the new team. I have to say I got a bit confused a couple time if Gary's character or the ladies was the team leader. Also, I could help but call him Mac Taylor the entire episode

I like the new team so far, too. They didn't make them too quirky or charactery, or unbelievable, right off the bat. I think that was the mistake with CM: Suspect Behavior. They tried too hard, too soon, highlighting the team over the cases. CM was about the FBI procedures primarily for the first few seasons and we only got glimpses of the private lives of the characters.

AND, other than the young computer tech showing that Garcia wasn't as knowledgeable or experienced as him with the victims' families, (that was always J.J.'s department,) they didn't make our CM team look like idiots, or were in some kind of competition with them.
