Also, that picture of Joe Mantegna sitting in a chair by himself CLEARLY shows what looks to be a gravestone of some sort off to the side. Dang it. I don't think that Emily is ever coming back. She was my favorite girl.

Well, the rumours are that her storyline is a cliffhanger. The producers gave her the option to come back next season, but Paget is holding out to see if she can get a TV pilot for a new show.

I'm thinking now, there is a possibility the team might have to pretend she's dead, (only we don't know that part.) If she's decides to come back, it turns out to be a fake death. Crossing fingers!

Is it just me, or was Hotch not in this episode much? It wasn't till Morgan called him, that I realized, "Where IS Hotch?"

He was missing completely from one whole episode , and now he was barely in this one, except in peripheral way. What gives?

I am REALLY DISLIKING CM lately.
If it wasn't broken, why fix it??? I miss JJ, I can't stand Seaver, with her wide eyed puppy dog look. Emily's storyline is annoying me...I dunno, this show used to be FANTASTIC.

I am now watching repeats on ION. The older seasons were the best.....

Okay, whew! I was afraid that maybe my obsession/addiction to Hotch had finally gone over the edge and I'm suddenly hallucinating he should be in episodes more than normal.


I found the premise of this CM:SB a little implausible. Garcia, err, Penelope finds info on this one case where a guy watched men die. It doesn't fit the profile, but FW wants them to follow it anyway. It isn't until they get there and interview the daughter & mom, that they find out Penelope didn't follow through on her normal investigating to check to see that the guy was still in prison? Oops!

Only NOT Oops, as he really is the guy after all, and FW knows that. A mistake on Penelope's part turns into a lucky coincidence after all.

How is it that FW had more powers of deduction that Rossi or Gideon, who rely on the whole team. But, in this show, it's FW who figures 90% of it out.

Back to that episode of CM, the sister remarked how Rossi seems to know a lot about Autism.

In real life, Joe Mantegna, has a daughter who is autistic. He does extensive fundraising and working to promote various charities & organizations for disabilities. Some of the charities are: Easter Seals Chicago, The Barbara Sinatra Childrens Center, Actors for Autism, Autism Speaks, Tutor/Mentor Connection, ACT Today for Military Families, Home Boy Industries. a few months ago, he rallied on Twitter to raise funds for the American Wheelchair Mission which provides free wheelchairs and mobility aids to physically disabled children, teens and adults throughout the world who are without mobility or the means to acquire a wheelchair.

His other daughter, Gia, we've seen on CM and is on her own show on Teen Nickelodeon.

Maybe Hotch took a back seat so Joe could really be focused on in this show?
