Yes, all the contracts were up after the last season. They decided not to renew AJ's contract, and Prentice, (Paget Brewster,) had to fight for the episodes she will be on.

The producers goofed, because, now they are offering her the chance to be on full time again, and SHE is holding out. She wants it in her contract that she can be let go if a great pilot comes along. Meaning, if she films a pilot, and the show gets picked up to run, she can leave CM.

Thomas Gibson, (Hotch) did something similar years ago. He was on Chicago Hope, (with Mandy Patinkin, "Gideon,") and the show had jumped the shark. Either he left the show, or also had a contract saying he could leave if he got a pilot that got picked up. The following season, he got Dharma & Greg.

I thought that, too. I was waiting for her to come back & have a scene confronting Jeremy Irons, all upset that he knows who the rapist was and won't help his own daughter.

She also didn't really act like someone who had just been raped.

Second, Congratulations on your wedding & honeymoon.

Third, you will learn, I have a major crush on Thomas Gibson. I'd be majorly starstruck if I saw him in person.

Also, Dee77 pointed out on the Golden Globe thread that Mellisa Leo also gets congrats. She is the Golden Globe winner for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for: The Fighter.

She played Sherrif Georgia Davis on the episode with Keith Carradine as Frank who went cross country killing people out of his RV, who ultimately kidnapped the schoolbus children to get out of the diner with the stawberry milkshake etc.

My husband did not believe she was the same actress until I showed him the episode guide of Criminal Minds.

I didn't believe either that this woman is the same gal!

Also, the girl that handed out the Globes to the winners was Gia Mantegna, Joe Mantegna, (Rossi's) daughter. Ms Golden Globes is always a second generation actress of a parent who is also in show business.

Gia was on the eposide where a former mobster hitman, who entered Witness Protection had his teenage daughter and her friend kidnapped.
