We're fine here! There was some pretty bad flooding in RI but no significant damage in my town as far as I know. We never even lost power, which is amazing because after Hurricane Irene last year we didn't have power for a week.

This episode is pretty bad. I have no idea what is going on and I'm bored with it

We never lost power at my house...my kids and DH (who is also a teacher) went back to school today. My school was still closed today - our entire district still doesn't have power. We are hoping to open on a 2hr delay tomorrow, but right now power still has not been restored to the area! So, I guess we are on a wait and see... Many of my friends in the area are still without power... I feel very lucky!!!

Can somebody fill me in on the motive? I totally blanked out. Why did she keep those men in her barn?

I luckily was in between two different sections of the city with power outages.

(The latest estimates are that 4 million people are without power.) I heard on the news that one of the main power plant buildings, just several blocks from me, was flooded, and that was a good several hours before high tide was expected to roll in. I was expecting my power to go out too. Luckily that plant doesn't power the same neighborhood it is located in.

The parts of the city that were the least affected are pretty much back up & running.

We actually didn't seem to get as much rain here as the surf & wind pouring in & causing all the damage around the coastline. One of our cable TV stations show 24 hr traffic cameras of different street intersections throughout the city, to show traffic congestion. One is of Times Square, also several blocks from me, further inland. Every time I looked, there were several people milling about as it wasn't raining.

I always feel like Garcia, doing CM surveillance when I look at Times Square. But, I actually use it to see if it's raining in my neighborhood.

This episode is creepy!!!!! Now a pregnant woman?! YIKES!

As far as how we made out with the storm. We are fine. Areas all around us lost power, some areas lost a lot of tree branches. Very thankful we are okay.

She had developed some skin rash while her husband was dying. The Dr. actually treated her & the condition went away. But, she thought it was all the drugs and especially her deceased husband's ashes which cured her.

She became delusional & thought the rash was back and that also her DD developed the rash, too. I guess she thought the men had DNA or something, (as a substitute for her deceased DH,) which could help cure her & DD. I don't know why she didn't simply burn them for their ashes, too, though.

At least, that's what I think happened, in between all the cringing I was doing, from how gross the episode was.

I didn't think so. I thought just sick from eating whatever Mom forced in her. Otherwise the mom would have had a worse reaction. But, she dragged one of the men over to still work on healing her DD.

Am I the only one who didn't find the episode that gory?

It seems like they hinted at a lot of gore, but didn't show that much.

I thought the episode overall was kind of a dud. It was a little too convoluted I think. The new woman Profiler (I apparently haven't learned her name yet) I just can't connect with. The way she talked to the woman at the end just seemed so fake and forced.

Me, too. The episode kind of jumped the shark for me - it didn't make any sense. I much prefer the real profiling, when the unsub is crazy - of course, or they wouldn't be an unsub - but more like you & me and the crimes make some sort of sense. This delusion went too far out into left field.

It seems like the new producers believe that they have to keep one-upping every episode. I hope they go back to profiling.

the episode was creepy, confusing and boring, but i LOVED the ending! henry was SOOOOO CUTE! and the smile on reid's face as he watched them leave was awesome.

I didn't think it was gory, in a violent sort of way. But, I was squeamish about the nose hose & eating the placenta.

I also don't know the new profiler's name. I just think of her as "Newbie."

I do think the writing this season isn't up to the calibre of past seasons.

I think the new girl's name is Blake. I think that's what Hotch called her. I assume that's her last name since everybody else is referred to by their last name.
