Cricut Question

So my (and now my DH because I have roped him in) have been trying to figure out how to write words so that the letters connect.. We have only been able to do indv. ones... am I crazy or doing something wrong?? do I need a special cartridge? please help!!!

The letters all cut out individually. You will need the Cricut Design Studio and a computer to weld the letters together.

you can find the Design studio at Walmart for $65.

1 thing though, the design studio is not Mac compatible, you will need a regular PC to use the software.

I believe that Michael's has a promo right now, where if you buy 3 cartridges, you can get Design Studio for free. This week, carts are $40 at Michaels.

The Micheal's promo is with Cricut. buy 3 carts at Mike's and then send in the info to Cricut and they will send you Design Studio. Check out the Cricut site for all the details. I've also seen Design Studio online for less. Check out customcrops.com. I think I saw it there for $45.

I'm glad I saw this thread because I was wondering what exactly the DS was and if it would be useful for me-dumb question...should have known. My DS works for Walmart...I'll have to get him to purchase it for me with his discount.
