Cricut Create or Cricut Expression for lettering?

I posted this question under another older thread, and think it might have gotten lost there, so I'll try again. I'm a crafter, but not into scrapbooking. I'd like a Cricut for doing lettering and would like to be able to use the Mickey and Pals graphics in some of my crafts. I'm leaning toward just getting the Create. I don't think I need the size capabilities of the Expression. Can anyone give me any input as to whether the Expression has any other features over the Create that would make me regret going with the smaller machine? I actually went so far as to purchase the Expression and bring it home, but once I saw the actual size of it out of the box, I am having serious second thoughts. It just seems like overkill for what I want to use it for.
Thanks for any advice!

I have the create and think it would be fine for what it sounds like you want to do. I think the main difference is how large you want to be able to make your letters or shapes. The create goes up to 5.5 inches - maybe 6 I would have to look at the machine whereas the expressions goes up to 12 inches. I don't know if there are other features that are different but hopefully someone else will know.
