Cricut carts will be on sale at M's on Black Friday for $26.99, and buy 2 get 1 free. Plus the first 25 people in the store on Thanksgiving (they are opening Thursday at 4 pm) get a free Jubilee cart. This is not a cart that has been included in any of the gypsy freebies.

I need to call my local store to see if Imagine carts are included. I cannot read the ad scan, anyone else have better eyes than me? (Ad Scan)

regluar price at something (I was thinking it said 59 but not sure if that is right) so if they are the same price as the rest then I would think so but I haven't priced carts in a long time, limited to what is there & only so many per customer (couldn't tell number but it was a single digit)

I think it says you get a free jubilee cartridge if you buy 2 cartridges. It is difficult to read.

I have a feeling that the M's carts on sale are the ones that are regularly $59.99. They normally have older carts at $59 and newer stuff at $89, and then those wouldn't be on sale.

J's ad is out and their Friday doorbuster is carts for $26.99 too. (bfads justs lists the weekend price of $39.99, but if you look at the ad there is small print indicating the $26.99 http://bfads.net/Ad/Joann-Fabrics-2011). You can get a free artbin storage container free with rebate with the purchase of 2 carts.

However, after looking at the sales, and looking at the prices on Hallmark Scrapbook, I decided to just order Toy Story ($19.99), Best of Pixar ($25.99) and Nifty Fifties ($24.99) from Hallmark. Then I will have less stress over the BF weekend trying to get the carts I want. I am still looking for Pack Your Bags and Disney Classics for a good price. I am hoping that the $26.99 on Friday at J's will apply to online sales and then pick them up then, unless if someone knows of a deal elsewhere (no cricutmachine.com, won't use them as long as there are issues).

Good catch on the regular price!!!! I will have to stop by M's and see what the prices are like and what they have. M's has gotten really out of control with treating these carts like they are gold.

I stopped by M's today and they had NO carts for $59.99. All the carts were $89 with the exception of some that were marked down to $27.99. The Imagine carts were $49. They really would not lure us to a sale where they had no carts would they?!

AC Moore does that frequently!

ETA: shouldn't just pick on ACM I guess. Have had that problem with other stores, too -- ad items not in store even when door first opens -- I think it's pretty common these days, esp. on BF.

A little update with M's...the original ad I saw said carts regularly $59.99 and none of the M's in my area have any carts at that price, but now on the M's website they have the ad and it says carts $89.99.

just back from Michaels -- they didnt have a great selection -- I ended up with birthday bash - camping criters and the music one - plus i got jubilee for free -- they had a neat crayola thing for free (glow explosion spin magic activity kit) with the purchase of any 12.00 crayola purchase - so I got a few things and they gave me two of the free ones. and ended up with a few of the dollar items for stocking stuffers and used my 30% off total purchase.

How were the crowds today?

Just got back, the crowds at my rinky dink store were crazy! I was really surprised at how many people were there.

I got Art Nouveau, Sophisticated and Jubilee. But I think I'm going to take Sophisticated and Jubilee back, I'm just not that crazy about them. Art Nouveau was the one I was really going after.

I am going to M's after we finish cleaning up from dinner. Just have to wipe down the stove and counter tops. I'll be interested to see what's left. Aside from my Hallmark scrapbook order I mentioned above, I also bought Pack Your Bags and Disney Classics today from an Amazon.com affiliate (Cricut Direct) for less than M's price. It's nice to have them on order without stressing on whether or not the store would have them or having to go to JoAnn's tomorrow. I might pick up Art Nouveau and a couple others if they have them.

How were the crowds today?

in my store -- it was fine - the store opened at 4 - I got there about 3:30 and stood in line at 3:50 - I was fifth in line and had no problem getting the carts i wanted from the ones they had - i was in and out in 30 minutes - couldnt have been more then 40 people in the store

I'm shocked! After I decided I needed to rest a bit before heading out, we finally made it to Michaels 3 hours after opening. Not 5 seconds, after I started looking at the cartridges did a manager come by and said, "I have 3 Jubilee's left!" So I quickly grabbed a few and my DH bought them so I still managed to get Jubilee! The carts I bought were: Art Nouveau, Ribbons& Rosettes (last one of both of these!) and Camping Critters. And I only spent $15 on other things. I got out for less than $100 which I told DH was the cheapest I ever got out of M's on Thanksgiving (he was starting to notice how many cartridges I bought this week and was getting a little  :lmao: )

Our Michaels wasn't that packed- we arrived at about 3:45 and were fifth in line. I got Everyday Popup cards and Noah's Alphabet along with Jubilee. I really want the New Testament cart but it is so new it is not on a real sale anywhere- so I will wait for Valentines Day.

I got Groovy Times and Pack your Bags, plus a free Jubilee. Got there at about 4:30, so 30 minutes after opening.

I have reached Cricut saturation..... decided that NONE of the carts at our local store were that interesting. I will have to get by with ones I have......

I think Storybook has the most beautiful alphabet - love using it for scrapping and it is fantastic for bulletin boards too. Do not have Pack Your Bags, but love Going Places!! Have fun discovering your new Cricut and the carts - but beware, as many of us can tell you, the carts can become addictive!!
Did go on Hallmark Scrapbook site on Thursday and got a few of the $10.99 carts, but as Fireplug said above, you can reach a saturation point - think I am there, for now!!!

I got Groovy Times and Campin Critters. I really wanted Campin, but had a hard time finding another cart I wanted. The selection was blah. I really wanted Nifty Fifties or the new autumn one, Autumn Celebrations, I think, but they did not have those.

Gorechick, I love storybook! I use it all the time! I cannot comment on the others as I do not have them.
