Hi everyone,

We are going to Pop in Feb and our son will be almost 6 months old, we are first time parents and Disney has offered us a crib for our room. Has anyone ever used them? Are they good. Should I just bring our travelling crib/playpen.

Thanks everyone.

Sara

The one we got at Coronado Springs was a pack and play. I would bring your own sheets though because the ones they gave me were large flat sheets that needed to be tucked under the mattress but it wasn't secure at all. Have a fun trip - Lesley

we also requested cribs for our twins but found out later they were really pack and plays. too small for our girls. instead we will put them in a reg bed w/crib rails. our girls are 2 1/2 though. a reg mattress would be to soft for yours.

we stayed at Boardwalk Villas last week; the room had a pack and play but since I requested a crib they brought a metal one which my dd liked better than the pack n play. It sounds weird but I think it's metal so they can sanitize it.

I am not sure about Pop, they may have the metal cribs, or pnp's. You can call the hotel directly and ask to speak to mousekeeping to get a better idea. I have read on the boards that bed rails are also available from mousekeeping. Again, probably worth a call to the resort you are staying at (they all differ) and see what they have. You will often get a different answer even from mousekeeping, but their info will still help you out hopefully.

Good luck!

Does Disney provide bed rails? If so do you ask in advance?
i didnt like the idea of the pack and play so i asked about the rails and was able to reserve 2 at time of reservation

We stayed at POP lats year and DD was 12 mo. Pack-n-Play was fine but they do have a small number of metal cribs but there is no way to reserve one for sure. It is first come first serve. Also not sure if there would be lots of room with a full sized crib.

Last week ours had a fitted mickey mouse sheet and a couple flat sheets. I used all three so it would be extra comfy. I just tucked the extra in. We brought a blankie from home.
