We have requested a crib for our 2-year-old son in the Polynesian. For those who have requested a crib specifically in the Polynesian, was it a standard Pack-N-Play (i.e., Graco) or a regular crib?

We NEED to use a "crib tent" on it... and we do own both a regular crib tent & a Pack-N-Play crib tent. I need to know which size to bring. Thanks!! :)

We stayed at Poly in May and requested a crib...it was a crib (wooden sides and all) but smaller than what I would consider standard size. I can't remember what size it was but if I had to guess, I would think that the pack-n-play tent would fit better.

The bigger problem is actually getting the crib. It wasn't there when we checked in so we called the front desk and went off to the parks. When we returned late that evening, it still wasn't there...so we had to call again and wait for someone to bring it up. Except for that, the Poly was great. The food at Kona cafe was excellent and being able to watch wishes and the water parade from your balcony was priceless (we had the MK view).

You might need to bring both types of tents with you. I think that they have several different types of cribs that they use. When we went at the beginning of December, they gave us an iron crib....much like a hospital bed....not pretty, but it worked well. I had brought along pack n play sheets thinking that we would be getting a pack n play.....fortunately the pack and play sheets still fit the thicker matress in the iron crib.

We got the same wooden kind.

It is narrower & shorter then the average crib but not quite the size of a pack & play (those may be a bit wider too).

And I seem to remember the sides were shorter then my crib.

I have asked this question also and the answer seemed to be that sometimes it is a small crib and sometimes pack n play. Did you check out babys best friend, it is a rental place that will deliver right to the resort, it has gotten very good reviews the the dis boards, It has a full size crib for about $70 for a week I think. We are going with my 1 year old in September so I am also pondering this situation. Good luck!:)
