Thanks. I did end up calling. They are cribs with rails. Now I'm trying to decide if I should take the mesh bumper off our crib to make it feel more like home. I'm sure it would fit on a smaller crib since it can be adjusted.
I'm glad you got the answer to your question and think your idea about the bumper from home is a good one. We used to do something like that with a comforter and pillow from home to make hotel cribs and beds feel and smell more familiar. It really helped oldest sleep better when we were away from home.

Unfortulately I didn't take any pictures. It was a basic, white metal roll away crib. It was slightly larger than a pack n play with a thin mattress. It looked similar to this.

It didn't seem very comfy and I questioned how safe it was. I didn't care for the gaps in the corners. When my 6 month old was in it, he slept ok, but he spent the majority of the night in my bed then because he still didn't sleep well on his own

Yeah that’s exactly what I worry about is the safety. It doesn’t look like much. Mine also won’t sleep in a pack & play. I’m going to look into the rental places.
