Can I request a full size crib at the BWV? Or do they only have the pack'n'play's? Do they have bedding for the cribs/pack'n'plays or should I bring my own? When we stayed at the FQ the crib only had a sheet for a full size bed and that made my husband alittle uncomfortable because DD had a tendency to pull it off.

Thanks for the info.

Bumping in hopes someone will have answers.

I'm pretty sure I've heard of people requesting & getting "real" cribs but I'm not sure what type of bedding would be provided.

My SIL requested a full size crib at BWV for her then 16 month old son. I don't remember what bedding was provided because after my SIL saw it, she decided to just let my nephew use the sleeper sofa with his 5 year old brother. She didn't think he would stay in it.

The crib was bigger than the Pac N' Play, but didn't seem to be as big as what I remember a full size crib to be. (My daughter is now 21 so don't put too much weight on what I remember as a full size crib, LOL)! HOpe someone else has more info for you. All I can say for sure is that BWV does have "regular" cribs in addition to the portable ones.

We got a crib when we stayed at the Poly in concierge and it wasn't a full sized one either. It was a wood port-a-crib. Not sure if any of the resorts still have them, but if they offer you one as the only other option, I would decline and use the pack -n- play. They are basically the size of the pack-n-play but further up off the ground like a crib. The sides are not very high and we also didn't use it as we were scared our son would climb out. He ended up sleeping in one of the beds, with my husband and I taking turns sleeping with him. Ugh, it was awful, and yes they gave us a full size sheet to use with it! My son was already used to sleeping in pack-n-plays but they didn't seem to have these.

I would bring your own sheet for the pack-n-play. For some reason (maybe my son is used to the smell of our detergent?) our son always sleeps better.

Thanks, I will definately bring a pack'n'play sheet and another blanket with us. The last time we were at FQ and forgot a baby blanket it was very difficult to find one in any of the stores.
thanks again.

We stayed at WL last spring and had a Pack 'N Play. It was made up when we arrived and had a very cute Disney Babies sheet on it and a matching blanket. Because of a chronic hives problem, I brought sheets from home and changed the Pack 'N Play before DD slept in it. The resorts use Tide, which irritates her skin. I would be careful about using something other than a Pack 'N Play (and I bet Disney may no longer have any other options other than perhaps a full size crib, if needed) since there have been a lot of reports about the hazards presented by older, wooden travel cribs. DD was 22 mos. at the time, and figured out how to get out half way through the week. We're going to HH in September and VWL next spring and I requested a Pack 'N Play for DS who will then be 9 mos. and 15 mos. respectively. I hope he gets the very cute sheets, too!

that before our trip to WL, I called housekeeping and requested that all of the our linens and towels not be washed in Tide. I cannot remember what they called what they did instead, but our linens, etc. were put through an extra rinse or something so that DD's skin wouldn't be irritated. Housekeeping was great about this and the one or two times we were in our room when the cleaning woman came, she did indeed have special towels for us. One day, a housekeeping manager stopped by with our towels, and said they had not been ready when our room was cleaned and that he wanted to be sure we got the right ones. I'm sure you can request this service at the DVC resorts, too. This may be helpful with a wee one who has sensitive skin. It sure beats packing your own towels and sheets.
