I will need a crib for my stay in November. Does BLT have a real crib they could bring to the room? I know they have a pack and play but I don't think my baby would sleep in that. If they do have a crib do I need to call ahead of time to reserve one or just ask for one at check in? Thanks!!

DVC doesn't have cribs. The Contemporary might but not guaranteed and you can't reserve them. Using an outside rental company is popular.

DVC does not provide cribs. They have a PnP in every room.
You will not be able to get one through the resort. You will have to contact an outside service to secure a crib, have it delivered and picked up by the outside service.

This is what the cribs look like:

You can request one when you check in. Not sure if you can do so ahead of time. In either case I don't think you will be guaranteed to have one, so you might want to consider getting one from a rental company.
As you can see, this photo is 3 years old. If this info has changed recently, hopefully someone will post here.

Yes, I saw one of the cribs Jean pictured in the hallway of the VGF this week.

Our 1 year old slept like a "baby" in the pack n play this past summer

My 16 month old grandson naps every day at a pak n' play at my house so we're not anticipating any problems when he's at the Grand Californian at age19 months.

What ever you choose I would recommend bringing your own crib sheets or PnP sheet, the detergent they use is very harsh and caused a rash on my sons cheeks.
We used the white crib pictured above for my 9 month old and it is small and his legs and arms got caught between the rails when he moved in his sleep. We prefer a PnP for this reason.

Ohh good idea about the crib sheets. Thanks for all the advice everyone! I'm hoping they will have an extra travel crib around. She prefers her crib but will co-sleep in the big bed if needed so there is always that to fall back on if an extra crib isn't available and if she doesn't like the PnP.
