Crested Butte - Can someone give me some info?!

I am leaving next Sunday evening for a week long ski trip to Crested Butte, Co. I was not able to get a hotel room with a kitchenette. Does anyone know of some economical eateries in CB? We eat just about anything! Or are there some grocery stores with a deli where I could pick something up and take back to the hotel? Any info is appreciated!

Can't help you out to much since I only spent one day there but I am sure that there are "some" cheaper places to eat, since the locals and the ski bums have to eat too! Check on your hotel perhaps you have a small refridgerator in the room, many now do along with a small coffee pot. I hope you have a great time skiing, I always ski Steamboat Springs, I found Crested Butte to be a little tough for me but that maybe because I only get to ski 1-2 weeks a year (not much snow here in Florida! )

Are you flying into Denver and then driving to Crested Butte? If so there is a Costco on I-70 as you leave Denver. I think it is the Wadsworth Exit. Also King Soopers is the big grocery store around here. They also own City Market grocery stores. I'm sure there is a King Soopers or City Market in Crested Butte.

We're flying into Colorado Springs and then driving. I'm thinking we'll stop and get snack food in Colorado Springs, but I'm hoping the grocery store in Crested Butte will have a deli to get warm foods for a hot meal on a few of the nights.

Glad to hear that it's suppose to be nice next week! I'm so ready to go!!
