Where has everyone had creme brulee, and how good was it?

::MickeyMo We had milk chocolate at Fulton's and maple at Le Cellier. Both were delicious! ::MinnieMo

I just had a ginger creme brulee at the new Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station. It was cold. Other than that it was good for counter service. I haven't had creme brulee in quite a while. Is it supposed to be cold?

Cappuccino Creme Brulee at CRT - very delicious. They serve it in a little espresso cup with a biscotti and a chocolate spoon. It was very creamy and rich and you can definitely taste the coffee flavoring in it.

There's a pic that I posted on the food porn thread (the food pic thread)

I've always loved the Creme Brulee at the Fountainview Cafe, Maple Creme Brulee at the Canada Pavilion, Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee at the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary, and the Key Lime Creme Brulee at Narcoossee's over at the Grand Floridian... On my trip coming up in May.. I'm going to try the Tropical Fruit Creme Brulee at Citricos

GOOD STUFF!!!

:disrocks:

Les Chefs de France in Epcot had the best creme brulee I have had in my life.

Ditto GizFish. We had dinner and lunch at Les Chefs de France last week. Fantastic!

The pistachio creme brulee at Jiko is better than.... ;) ...oh, never mind. I hope you get the picture!

I make it at home, and it is great. Simple as can be. It only has 4 ingredients: cream, egg yolks, sugar , vanilla.

Yes, serve chilled.

No idea if they still make it, but the California Grill used to make a terrific butterscotch version. Yummy.

It is really supposed to be served warm.

DS used to help me make Creme Brulee to leave for Santa :cool1: He's a Creme Brulee fanatic. We plan on doing some more CB sampling this trip. We have had Fountainview Cafe, V&A, & Le Cellier. All good. V&A had the best presentation, of course.

I'll go with the one at Les Chefs too!

On Easter we attended a really nice brunch where the pastry chef was at the ready to make you creme brulee while you watched. The custard was already set in small ramekins and she would top one with sugar and torch it until it turned golden brown. It was fantastic....

It is chilled, but the sugar on top is supposed to be burnt. I've had it warm and chilled.

I think it's good either way. :cool1:

The sugar should be burnt when you order it. :flower: It would get yucky if they had pre-burnt ones sitting around for hours, and would be all goopy around the top.
