Creepy rides

We're planning a trip for next summer. We have a daughter that will be nine by that time. She does really well with thrill rides but gets creeped out by spooky things. No problem with Tower of Terror drops but refuses to go back because of the theming in the queue. (I have to go by myself now)

I have been reading up on the rides. I'm a little concerned with what I read about Revenge of the Mummy. Are there other rides that might be disturbing in that manner?

Yes she can be a bit of a drama queen.

Poseidens Fury over at IOA also has a creepy queue , though that and the building exterior is about the only thing impressive about that attraction

Stay onsite and you skip the mummy queue for the most part - its just dark, that's all. There's a surprise or two in the regular queue which could be considered creepy.

I don't think anything else is creepy, but Poseidon is dark. I think its a cool show and worth seeing, but it is VERY dark. The story is that they are trapped in a hidden chamber..etc.. so it could be "creepy"

Definitely avoid Mummy. It's a short ride, but it's dark, there are a lot of scary/disturbing things in it and some of the TMs like to scare guests.

She may have some trouble with Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey too. Depends on how well she'd tolerate massive spiders and Dementors...

A this time I am planning on buying the Costco tickets which will give us entry in 2015 also.

We plan to stay onsite so maybe we can skip most of the queue.

She has been good at other times at just pulling her hat down when something scary may be coming up.

I'm looking forward to a lot of these attractions. I like the stories at Disney but the thrills are often minor.
