Creepy men! (Long, sorry)

If your mom is around when it happens, tell her, hon. I've said some stuff to guys on her behalf before--as in, "She's 15 yo, get a life." It annoys me no end.

Do know that it's nothing you're doing, Sparx. They're just jerks. And creepy jerks, at that. :grouphug:

I'll second that. My 13yo SON had some older teen boys approach him in a video store one time. The things they said to him are not repeatable and he was very upset & shaking. He pointed them out and I mean to tell you, it wasn't pretty :furious: one of the boys immediately apologised--I thought he was gonna pee his pants; the other one smirked and mocked me. At which point I got right up in his face(no hands) and told him if he EVER touched my son or spoke to him again the police would be taking him away in handcuffs and *I'd* be calling his parents for him from jail(I'm only 5'3" but I was in a Mama Tiger mode). I turned on my heel and called the manager. Those boys nearly flattened me running out of the store and I've never seen them again.

Sparxx, tell your mom. You don't have to put up with perverts.

While I don't agree with sizing up younger kids, it can be very difficult at times when the kids are wearing almost nothing. I have seen way too many younger girls wearing bikini tops and shorts (at least I think they were shorts) around Disney. Then either they or their parents get upset when more attention is given to them.

Gee, I guess my dd was asking for it when she was wearing jeans and a big hooded sweatshirt at WDW in February and some guy that was there with HIS FAMILY was ogling her. He walked right into a trash can. If I had been his wife, I'd have had a few choice words for him.

Girls have been wearing bikinis or some version of hot pants for years. (Okay, I guess I just really showed my age with the "hot pants" statement there.) You'd think middle aged men (some of them dads) would be able to control their eyes and their actions. I'm not checking out teenage boys that run around with their shirt off or assuming that they're "asking for it" because of what they're wearing. I'm a middle aged woman; I'm not really attracted to boys young enough to be my own kid.

I know this won't make you feel any better, but its not just girls that age that creepy old men are talking to.

My DS who is 15 has been getting it too.

.

:furious: Daaaaaamn these creepy scum bags that seem to be climbing out of the woodwork lately?!?!? WTH!?!?! UGHHHH!

Thes stories are literally making me ill to my stomach.

This would be a good time to remind new parents to teach your child, when lost to go to ANY female - youre better off with ANY female then even a male secuirty guard.

Boy - Im sickened. :guilty:

You shouldnt be *sizing up* anyone when youre with your family on vacation - and it's obvious they are too!!!

Ill be honest with you. Im a little tired of the "well, they looked 18" excuse. Am I the only one who can tell when someone is a child?!?? Come on...

How about you dont *size anyone up* unless they appear to be 30 - will that work?

And this wasnt really intended *TO* the person Im quoting, but again - totally sick of the "well, she looked 18" garbage.

A few thoughts from a male perspective. (And as a father who has 2 daughters.)

First, I believe there is a diffeence between an 11/12 yr old girl and 16/17 year old. Any type of attraction to an 11'12 yr old is just plain twisted. However, we all know it is very diffiucult to tell these dyas between a 16 yr old and 18 yr old. In fact, other than relatively new laws in many states there is very little difference between a 16/17 yr old and 18 yr old. Let's not run and hide from the truth. A good looking 17 yr old is is just that- good looking. I hear comments about Michelle Wei, tennis players ( I always forget their names) who are under 18, but they are attractive.

So I understand it. I don't condone it, and I'm quick to stare down any guy who looks at one of my daughters. And one is over 21!

With that said, there should be no excuse for oggling anyone of any age- especially when a guy is with his family. But even if he's not, when is it ever ok to oggle anyone?

Finally, there are far too many sickos. That's why it bothers me that so many people in here have pictures and web sites of their families posted.
