Credit on account

If I reduce my stay by a night and end up with a credit on my account I am mpt spending, does it just get refunded on the last day?

What do you mean reduce your stay a night? Like, if you’ve paid your trip in full before arrival but then change/modify your reservation at a later point?

Yes...we had paid a deposit for 2 nights at cbr before our akl stay. Now we are planning on just one night, but that leaved is with a credit. We are paying for everything else with gift cards and aren' planning on spending the credit there. I just wanted to make sure it would just refund back to us after the stay is over.

We were left with a credit after a modification and was given a choice between credit or refund. I’d call back and ask for a refund.

Disney has different policies regarding refunds depending on your booking type.

If you are booked as a 'Room Only' with no tickets or dining plan, you are given the option to have refunded to cc or leave as a credit on your account for charges during your stay. Most people opt for the refund.

If you are booked as a "package" with tickets or dining plan, all refunds will go back to the original form of payment. So if yo pay with a gift card, I would recommend hanging on to them and labeling them 'used'. Disney can reissue and send out new gift cards, but it's a lengthy process and you have to wait for them to arrive in the mail.

If you want your funds back quickly and you paid with a giftcard .. hang on to those used gift cards!
