I'm a big fan of getting ff miles with my credit card, figuring if I'm going to spend the money anyhow, might as well get a couple of free flights to Disney as well. My current card is a Capital One VISA, where points are good on any airline and with no restricted seats. The point requirement for flights on this card just went from 20,000 to 35,000, which I think is an unreasonable increase. I'm looking for another card that would give access to a variety of airlines. Does anyone know of one? Thanks.

AMEX.

But in all honesty 35,000 miles for a coach ticket with no capacity controls is a pretty good deal.

Hello GrammieMame- We use Southwest Airlines Visa card from First USA. Only 16000 points per free ticket. Yes it's only good for Souyhwest, but you can use the ticket or give it away.

We have the Starwood American Express (Optima) card. You earn 1 point per dollar spent, and the points can be redeemed for free nights at Starwood hotels (Sheraton, Westin, Four Points, etc.) or transferred to many airline programs. When you transfer 20,000 points to an airline, Starwood adds 5,000 bonus miles - which equals a free domestic ticket on a number of airlines.

We too, use the Southwest First USA Visa. We love flying SWA!

We have USAirways B of A card. It's 20,000 per ticket. We have gotten 5 tickets with no hitch. For this year we found the FF seats to be already taken and had trouble getting what we wanted.
