Credit cards at WDW restaurants

Just curious for those who have dined at the WDW places, do all of them allow you to use CC's (major like: Visa, Mastercards).. I'm concerned with taking too much cash into the parks, (don't really want to,) and thought about travel cheques but don't want to waste the time filling them out. So was curious if all (including counter service & the snack shops) take credit cards.. I'm thinking of caring about 50.00 cash / day for things like parking and probably for quick snacks, but all meals I would rather just use the credit card.

I don't carry more than about $20 cash around the parks. All Disney restaurants, buffets and counter restayrants take credit cards or room charges. The only places you may have some problems are the free standing ice cream and soda type stands...but many of them also accept credit and room charges now.

If you're staying offsite, allow for parking. If you're an onsite guest, parking is free at the parks. For a family $50 walking around cash is probably good.

With the exception of an occasional Coke or ice cream, I charged everything in December (got to build up those Disney reward dollars!) and never had a problem. On previous trips, I always felt like I needed to carry cash in the parks just in case someplace wouldn't take a credit card. By the end of this last trip, I was just carrying $5 in cash at a time.

Thanks so much for the fast responses! I have a family of 5, so I figured 10.00/person/day for emergency cash, (for a quick snack). Staying off site so I think I'll take a separate cash envelope with 8.00 for parking/day.. THANKS AGAIN! I love the DIS boards

The following credit cards are currently being accepted at WDW:
Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club, Japanese Credit Bureau, The Disney Store Card, Discover and if you have one, the Disney Rewards card that you have to redeem points for money charged to your Disney Visa.

I know that most places do accept Credit Cards, even the snack kiosks. Just ask before you purchase.
