Are the popcorn/ice cream/churro carts "cash only" or do they take credit cards too?

Just trying to plan how much cash we should bring.

Thanks

The food carts only accept cash so it's good to keep some handy when you go :thumbsup2

Churro's are only 2.75 last month when I went. Bring cash, and dont plan to use the ATM at Disneyland, the fee isn't to "happy" :P.

If you run out of cash in the parks and don't want to incure the huge ATM fee just buy Disney Dollars. You get one Disney $ for every real $ and there is no fee. Keep your reciept (SP?) and you can exchange them back to real $ if you didn't spend them all before you have to leave.

it continues to amaze me just how different DL and WDW are. this past February at WDW, every place took credit cards (AND ROOM CARDS), even the popcorn vendors. They used a wireless credit card processing system. Yes, it occasionally broke down, but for the most part, it worked wonderfully.

With today's modern technology, you would think that Disney could solve this issue in about 1 month if they really put their minds to it. The acreage of DL and DCA has to be less than a 1/10th of the acreage at WDW, and they manage to do it.

ok, stepping off the soap box now, thanks.

That would require them to actually spend money on Disneyland.

That's not a bad idea, have hotel cards be able to be used as credit cards in the park... then charge them on their bill when they go to check out... would make things easier for people, and make them more likely to buy stuff in the park.

Always keep a bit of cash on you for those moments that you will need it. The carts only except cash, so you will definately need to have some on hand. I cant go without getting a Churro or a Frozen Banana, so I know where you are coming from. I asked the same question a few months back. I wasnt sure either. But now im back and I know.
