I'm just wondering if anyone knows if Disney has the same £14 surcharge on phone bookings as it does on internet ones. With the Christmas booking period going to open up soon I'm trying to get as much info as possible and as we don't want to pay the full amount in one go weighing up our options whether to book with Disney who charges £14 or a travel agent who charges a percentage.

Yes, although I when I booked last year it was £9 but having said that my dad paid about £12 once converted from Euros for this trip. You will only pay it once so even if you don't pay the full amount in one go it only once charge:) Disney will charge a fee even with a debot card, however some TA's don't when I booked with Virgin & Thomas Cook we didn't pay a fee for using a debit card

Brilliant, that's just in info I was after. Last year we booked with First Choice and they charged us 2.5% for each installment and when we changed our booking from the Santa Fe to Sequoia :O

I too was wondering about this. When I phoned to book it, I paid half the total amount and was then charged £14 fee. I was planning to phone up and pay the remaining in little installments but have been holding off as I didn't want to get charged £14 every time! So if I phone up a few times, I won't get charged the £14 fee each time yes? :confused3

You only get charged the fee once, I've made subsequent payments and changes and only paid it once.

I booked by phone, had to pay the £14.

And then changed/upgraded my booking twice, paid the extra by card but didn't have the fee.
