I am saving for a trip to WDW next October. I was thinking if I could find a credit card that offered deals at Disney I would be able to save a bit.

Any suggestions?

Aloha!

I like to use AMEX for several reasons:

1) you have to pay the balance off every month (for most cards)
2) their membership rewards program is very good. they are connected to all the hotel rewards programs, most airline mileage programs etc. I transferred all my points to obtain my airline tickets. you can also get gift cards from stores: Toys R us, gap etc.
3)they sometimes have bonus points periods where you can earn double points for a short period.

If you use AMEX membership reward points, you can transfer the points to a hotel program like Marriott Rewards and get PH+ for points. I did this and was able to get 7 day PH+ for my DH and myself...still saving reward points for my DS.

Some people have gone with the Disney Visa card. IMHO, you don't get as much because you only get 1% for every $100 spent (please correct me if I'm wrong). The max you can earn in a year is $750 Disney reward points.
hope this helps!

cyansmom,

You are right about the 1% with the Disney Card and the $750/year max. I've only had the card for a few months and there haven't seemed to be any bonus rewards, such as double points the way american express does.

Does anyone know if the Disney card offers any chances to earn more rewards?
