I am sure most of you have seen this but for those who might not just a heads up-

"Beginning May 9th for reservations after June 24th, guests will be required to provide a credit card to make a reservation at all Disney owned and operated restaurants in the Disneyland Resort.

Guests must cancel within 24 hours or face a $10 per person charge for failing to show up for the reservation."

I wonder how long til this comes into force in WDW as well?

Happens now at wdw. If you are offsite guest some locations require full prepayment but most just impose a $10pp fee for no shows. Think it helps keep it fair to be honest.

And there are also some restaurants at WDW where onsite guests also have to give their cc details to secure a booking.
I have 2 ADRs that required my CC number - Ohana and Tusker House from memory.

Oh I am behind the times as last visit to WDW it wasn't needed and it wasn't needed for my recent bookings at DLP.
