Credit card confirmation

I’m all set with reservations for my upcoming solo trip. But ... I just realized that the card on file at the time I made them is one that expires before my trip, and it’s one I don’t want to renew.

I’ve changed the card on file but do I need to update the reservations too? Might they be cancelled if the system notices the cc has expired?

I've been in your shoes - I wouldn't worry about it. We didn't have any repercussions.
