Credit card companies with easy approvals?

Can you recommend any credit card companies that offer easy approvals even with bad credit? I know you are all going to say, "Don't do it!" but I am asking for a friend who feels he has no where else to turn. I am hoping someone here might know. Obviously the interest rate will be higher and other yearly fees might apply. Any ideas?

Go with a secured card. Nearly ever bank/ credit union have them.

I would hazzard to guess that if the friend had the funds for a secured card the question wouldn't be asked in the first place.

I know that Capital One is more lenient (at least for folks out of Bankruptcy); but go for the M/C not the Visa with them. Another one is, Credit One.

Does the person belong to a credit union? Also, if at all affliated with the Navy I've heard NFCU is easy to work with.

go to www.creditcards.com and have a look. they will tell you what cards he will/should be able to qualify for and their terms.
