I was wondering if WDW charges out every day whatever your balance is from your room credit card, We'll be using the Bankone Disney Visa and thought if it gets charged every day we might consider using something else to straetch it out a little bit

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking if each day Disney sends a charge through to your credit card company for that day's room charges and anything charged back to your room? If so, the answer is no. When you get your receipt on the last day, you'll see the individual charges listed by day, but then one lump "Payment" for the total on check out day. This payment is the amount sent to the Credit Card Company. The exception to this, in my experience, are extra tickets you buy. When I bought tickets to the Luau and E-night, the charges for those were sent through as individual charges. Hope this answers your question.

they do set a limit on the room charge. Usually 1500.00. When your charges hit that amount they charge the charge card.
As previously stated, tickets and the like are charged immediately.

we have never tried using our room key to pay for things during the day, but this year we will try that out.....I hope I can be disciplined enough so we don't have to bring a bunch of cash to the parks....I know that you can go to guest services at the hotel each evening & pay per day....

Gail, you must have only stayed at the better places! Actually, the "credit limit" is different at the various levels of resorts. It's $500 at value, $1,000 at moderates and $1,500 at deluxes. Also $1,500 at Fort Wilderness -- don't know about other home-away-homes. (It used to be more -- the first time we ever room charged our limit was $2,500.) When you reach that threshhold they run your card. They also run your card immediately for your room charges for all nights and for tickets, including e-night.

I've never got to the limit but once (two rooms at All-Stars -- $500 doesn't go very far for five people), and I went to the desk and asked to have it charged and reset to 0. I was afraid we would be in a restaurant and not be able to pay for our food!

OKW is where we stay and once at AK (the limit was 1500.00 there also). I don't remember it being 2500.00 at the DVC, but, that does not mean much these days. :)
