Is it still only Nationwide and the Post office that offer the bank rate on foreign transactions? Or does anyone else offer this now? Thanks in advance!

You need to check if info is correct but also Thomas cook and Audi were no fees abroad. There were another couple but I forget which, I have always been happy with Nationwide so don't bother looking at others.
Can someone advise me as i have heard a few people mention using this card abroad.Advice much appreciated-especially if i am wrong .
The Nationwide Card-----
1;-If i was to apply+be accepted,do 'they' tell you how much you can spend-like a spending limit.,whilst over there?
2;-When i use this card over there it's the same as using a debit card here with a pin number?.Does the money come out straight away?Say i put £1000 in,can you only use however much you have in the account?
3;-Is there any charges whatsoever for this money being converted into GBP,or a charge everytime this card is used?.
Anything else i need to know?.(I am already with the Abbey, but have not heard of the Abbeyzero before-is this exactly the same thing?)
Thanks.x.
Hope you did'nt mind me asking this on your thread Laura -did'nt see the point of starting a new thread about the same type of thing.x.
