So I want to make those repurposed Frappuccino Bottles that I saw on the holiday gift thread. However I don't feel comfortable giving the "spa" theme to this particular teacher. I am trying to come up with summer fun something that could go in those bottles. Any ideas?

Maybe a layered cookie mix?

This sounds delicious! I am going to mix some up for my kids' teachers - there are about 10 of them between my two kids and I was really scratching my head trying to come up with something affordable for all of them - thanks!

What is a repurposed Frappuccino Bottle???

You take the bottles and rinse them out - reuse them here is the photo of the one I saw online-

Sorry if I sound negative, but that kinda grosses me out. Can you use a brand new bottle of some kind that would fit in the Frappaccino carton?
I do think the idea is very cute. But icky!

Me too! It's cute, but ewww! Can't get around that one.

We did this, but we used Jelly jars, like you buy to make homemade jelly.

Much better idea. I really don't want to eat out of an old beverage bottle that I don't know how well it has been cleaned. I really appreciate nice notes or cards from my students, and if theyvwant to give a gift, I like $5 coffee cards. Easier and probably just ad cheap as the bottles when all is said and done.

I agree, a small gift card and a nice note from the student would be more desirable.

I think homemade foods often go into the trash. I also think a nice note and small gift card are the better way to go. Or even just the nice note if you don't have a budget.

The idea is cute and well intended, but I would reconsider.

My DD is a new teacher and she has had to come up with some very creative "thank yous" when she's been given a home made baked gift. "Thanks so much, going to have that AFTER my dinner!" "Did you make that all by yourself? It looks yummy" Then in the trash it goes. If it doesn't come in a sealed store container, or a bakery bag/box with a label, it goes right in the trash. Please just give your deserving teacher a gift card for coffee or to an office supply store.

ok kback to the gift card I guess. Hey it'll save me time anyway. I am friendly with this teacher as we have older boys that are friends- so I don't think she'd toss a homemade gift(as she has sent me cookies from her house just last week) but I will think of her just as "a special teacher" vs. A teacher that happens to be a friend too.
Maybe I'll do a small gift card- along with the frap bottles filled with school supplies like funky paper chips, thumbtacks, pencils, stickers

The school supplies sound AWESOME and super cute!!! Post pictures when you get done please, I love those repurposed bottles just have never done it yet.

Now I think this sounds like a really cute idea.

Now that's a great alternative and I'm sure she will love it.

Love the school supply idea! One of our office staff received the refurbished Frap bottles at Christmas. I think they had candy in them. If the candy is individually wrapped I think it is ok. But I'm not sure I'd eat out of used washed bottles.

I did Jelly Jars one year - put candy & some school "picks"
added the school Logo on the front (forgot the name of the stuff - orange & yellow label - glue stuff)

could add pencils to it (Math teacher would really like that)
