Creating t-shirt decals

Has anyone here had success making their own t-shirt decals?

I've been looking for an adult Lilo shirt for ages, so I think I'm just going to have to break down and make my own (want it for my trip in Dec.)

I know there are products available at Hobby Lobby and other places. Any suggestions?

I'm also worried about finding an image large enough to reproduce. Most stuff I would find online is so small and gets fuzzy when I enlarge it.

Have ya seen Zazzle.com They have lilo ones- Ive done it for a event specific and was impressed with the quality
