Ok. So I am trying to get myself to stop drinking sodas. But Im not sure what to drink. What else besides sodas do you drink?

See. I hate tea, and orange juice. haha

SOBES!!! I hate tea and orange juice too....I pretty much just like apple juice... but my opinion... strawberry daqure sobe..mmmmm or chocolate milk =D Good job on trying to be healthy tho!
 
I <3 milk. I drink it everyday, if not all day each day. Milk also helps with your metabolism.
Water. I've found that if I drink water straight, IE push it to the back of my throat and swallow, I can't taste it and it goes down easier.

Then it's not healthy at all.
Look at the ingredients, HFCS is the second ingredient, that's terrible for you, then citric acid is next.
And 30 grams of sugar too, not healthy either.
I'd cut that out of your diet with the other sugary drinks too, just drink water instead.
 
I get sick of water if thats all i drink all the time so I put some lemon juice in it. It tastes good and it's not bad for you.:)
 
You know what you could get?

I don't like drinking plain water, but have to drink SOMETHING (especially when we're at Disney) because I over-heat uber!easily. So my family buys these little, single things that you put in them. And! They're very low in calories too! ^__^

lol true that, but it's not soda. besides i cant drink them everyday...if your trying to get rid of soda... then why not try it out. I don't think there is much else "healthier" drinks that can truly compensate for soda..besides water and milk, and i know for sure that gets boring..but i dont like milk.. so that can be the reason.
 
I HATE soda.
So the only things I drink are Chocolate Milk and mostly water.

I knew they were both unhealthy before, but I just got the nutritional information now to compare them.
Kool-ade and sunny d are both unhealthy too, just get normal drinks. Instead of sunny d drink fresh orange juice.
 
I have fruit squash, but i'm not sure if that's sold in the USA. It's a fruit-based concentrate that you add to water. Although a 2L bottle can have the same amount of sugar as a 2L bottle of Coke. We normally get a no added sugar version, which has under 1g of sugar in the 3L bottle.

I'm guessing it's a liquid version of things like Kool-Aid or Crystal Light.

I use those, but I'm fairly certain they're probably not the healthiest things ever.

As for healthy drinks, I love (LOVELOVELOVE) Pineapple juice. It's really healthy for you as long as it's natural. It's also a good way to get Vitamin C if you don't like OJ.

When I'm out of the house, I pretty much exclusively drink water. I hardly ever drink soda (and I don't drink it at all during my sports seasons. Dehydrates you too much).
 
I drink A LOT of water.
My mom & sister HATE water, so they always use those crystal light flavour things and seem to like them alright.
(I hate them because I hate the taste of aspartame)

If you can get yourself into the habit of drinking a lot of water though it's really good for you. I drink about 3 bottles a day (refillable--happy earth day lol)

I also drink a lot of green tea, I LOVE tea, but I just can't have regular tea without tons of milk/sugar, so i switched to green which I can drink with nothing in it, so it's much healthier.

And if I'm craving something with flavour I go for either fresh O.J, Cranberry or Grapefruit juice. They taste great and don't have all the sugary stuff that's bad for you.

Stuff like kool-aid, fruit punches, apple juice, fruitopia, they're all loaded with sugar so try to stay away from stuff like that.

Water. Water. Water. I used to hate water, now I automatically reach for it. I've only had about 4 cans of soda since June of last year. (:

I love lipton green tea. It's these round containers and you can make pitchers. I've never figured out how healthy it really is but I'm pretty sure it has to be better than soda. I'm addicted to it. Other than that I drink milk, juice (apple. mmm), and water basically.

Good for you trying to be healthier. :)
