Create Your Own Magic Station Question

I feel like a dork asking this, but...

I've seen this mentioned several places as something new going on at WDW, but I still haven't figured out what it actually is! Is it a pin, a drawing, a figurine or what??? What is it that you're making? Has anyone done this??

When I was just there, several stores had make your own pin stations...basically, you can buy all different items to put on a pin base, and then get it put together right there in the store. I didn't do it, but I think it's a neat idea!

I thought maybe this was different than the Pin Stations but wasn't sure.
